Other suggestions on what colours the gloves could be:
Black + [random colour] (Green, Pink Purple and Light Blue have been suggested)
Green and Violet
Purple and Pink
Purple and White
It has also been suggested that Gaia should make (instead of gloves showed in my examples):

In 2006 I came to the conclusion that there weren't enough long, striped gloves on Gaia. Almost all of the petitions at that time were about the lack of wings/tails. I, on the other hand, really wanted a pair of black-and-white striped gloves. Back then the only striped gloves you could only find were the Spirited Gloves, and so I decided to make this petition. The rainbow-gloves in the example below are the ones I'd want the most at this time!
