This is a shop, this is only a shop....

Anyway, welcome to this shop of many creatures. All are magical in nature and beautiful to me. Here you can make a choice between three different sorts of pets. Actually I don't like calling them pets, they are companions, wards for you to care for, guardians.

First I'll talk about the Tomyu. They are a small race about 5 inches in height at adulthood. They are tiny images of the Goddesses that have created them. Small winged faes modelled after very large winged fae Goddesses. They can range in peronality just like we can. They can be kind and they can be cruel, this is all up to you and how you roleplay them.

Secondly we have the Dray, These pets are free unless they are customized. I have decided that they are a free pet for the fact that it isn't the companion that chooses them, but they who choose the companion. But there are very few of these, when they are available they will be in the flatsale section with instructions on how to acquire one, it won't be as easy to get one as saying 'gimme'.

Third, the Faeleon. A beautiful creature but the story behind them is sad. You see there are only adult Faeleons, and they are all male at that. So their are no eggs, no cubs, no mates. They are the last of their kind and very difficult to find. Maybe one day the females will be found and the race can be brought back to it's former population.

Last for now is the Unicorn. She like the Faeleon is lacking the other gender. This time they are all females so the pair of them can sort of commiserate together. Beatiful creatures that were brought back to the isle by the Goddess Baal Lura before she was forced into a slumber to help watch over those that she cares for, loves.

About the Tomyu first off. Tomyu range in height from 1 inch as spheres, a little over three inches as children and anywhere between 5 to 6 inches as adults. They can be found on the Island of Mystyx along with their fellow inhabitants.

The Dray are a large race. Though as an egg they are the size of an ostriches egg. As a larva, a bit longer, though small enough to wrap around their compainions arm. When they are hatchlings, they are the size of a large dog. As a whelp they grow to the size of a small horse, likened to an arabian and then as an adult they can easily stand shoulder to shoulder with a clydesdale.

The Faeleons, which still are hiding themselves from the public eye are rumored to be the size of adult male lions, yet no one has ever really seen one, so far as we can tell....just stories from the travelers of the Mystyx that claim to have seen the rare beast. But they bare no proof of their sightings.

9/23/04- Growing's in the Tomyu vale have been put on a little bit of a hold, I have them done all save Rune's but I'll get to work on that one asap. I've gotten another job as a colorist in two different shops, *L* busy busy busy so I'm handing the shop over to LC to run and I'm only going to be a co-owner and part time colorist. Though I don't think much will change though because I've really not been one to mass sell the Tomyu or any of the others for that matter, he's just going to be keeping an eye on the shop and I'll be in here too once things settle a bit more for me. Oh, and I will still be posting regularly in the roleplay thread so no worries there. xp

8/31/04- Yes, once again in the early morning hours I've made some changes, nothing drastic, just the name of the shop. It started out as a typo and then as I was lying in bed I started to think that it really shouldn't be a typo, that there was something I could do about it that made total sense. The shop is now called These Dreams of Mine, or T.D. of M. as playfully put by Psycho Shocker. And this shop really is just that....all the magical creatures that I've ever dreamed about....I hope it's the same for all of you heart

8/30/04- Yes, it's going to happen, T.D.F.O.M and Dragolins & Mogwai will be merging our roleplay areas. Just who will be running the thread I'm not sure, though when it does start up I'm going to be WATCHING and stuff....yeah, like you guys misbehave...*giggles* anyway, any questions or comments should be sent to me.

Rules.

1. When there is a flatsale, post in the thread which creature you want.
2. If you ask for a Sphere or Tomyu first, then you get it. The Dray's and the Faeleon will need to have you ask for it in a manner where you are trying to convince the creature that you are indeed the best companion for it. The Dray are free but the Faeleon will not be free but at a highly reduced price due to the effort I'm going to demand before I sell it.
3. Send trade amount to + Within + , confirm it!
4. I will have to wait for I will not send you your pet unless trade is confirmed.
5. Back on track, please have a name for your creature ready so the card can be prepared for you and link directly to the image because this pet does change, if you do not you'll have a Sphere or Egg forever. Though once you're Tomyu or Dray is grown, please save to your own server. In the case of the Faeleon's, save to your server immediately, there are no other forms at the moment.

The simplier the design you ask for, the cheaper it will be.

Adult- 3k-10k
*Child- 2k-5k
Sphere (comes with child stage and progresses to adult) - 5k-15k

Clothing and jewelry: Yes, I've added this option, I've been asked though I believe clothing would make the Tomyu lose a lot of their coloring and markings especially if they are highly color intensive. But if you want something on your Tomyu, give me a pm with your Tomyu's picture in it and I'll see what I can do for you. If you want a custom Tomyu with clothing please describe what you want, even better, send pictures. I will do my best to make it as close of a match as possible. Prices will be determined by complexity but no less then 1000g for the trouble.

Dray
Egg- 1k
This is a five stage dragon like creature. Egg, larva, hatchling, whelp and adult.

Faeleon
There is no customs at this time for the Faeleon.

Otherwise known as breeding. Obviously the Faeleon will not be able to breed.

The Tomyu can breed and I've changed the rules a bit so both the mother and the father can get a Tomyu sphere out of it. The parents of the Tomyu can be either male or female, the gender does not matter since they are suffusing two orbs with their life essence. The blessing of the Goddess of their choice must be sought out, Baal Lura, Oola Kira or Vaun Tei and a tribute of 3k from each parent must be made to the goddess (or rather the person you want coloring your Tomyu). Tomyu's may only breed one time on their own, any more then that would kill them. To infuse them with the power to have more children, they must go to the temple of Baal Lura and pray. If this prayer is successful, she will infuse them with the gift of life, enabling them to have more children. How does one get this blessing? Well, you must be a roleplayer frequently, you have to be a nice person and you have to be on the main thread as well a lot. It will still cost you to have your Tomyu's breed, though you may purchase them for yourself or for friends to play your sons, daughters, siblings. If the potenial son or daughter wants to pay for it, the owners of the Tomyu will have to contact me first via pm with their name and then they will need to contact me and trade for the breeding costs as well. Thanks, I know I've added a lot more but I think it makes it more fair.

The Dray must have one male and one female to breed, the cost of this is free if you will be donating the egg, if not it is 1k per egg that you desire the female to have, no more then THREE eggs and one of those must be a donation. One for the father's companion, one for the mother's companion.

One day I will get to this. But in essence the creatures have some form of magical ability that aligns with the sphere that they are from. The Dray are not able to cast spells, they just step on things that tick them off, or eat them domokun

Only the Tomyu have Goddesses, if the Dray or Faeleon's decide to follow one of them, that's their perogative. Later I may add Gods or Goddesses for them.

The Goddesses:

Baal Lura: Active in Spring and Summer, Goddess of Life.
Oola Kira: Active ALWAYS, Goddess of Growth
Vaun Tei: Active in Fall and Winter, Goddess of Death.

Q: How many stages are there to each pet?

A: The Tomyu have three stages while the Dray has five. The Faeleon at this time has only the single stage and they just come in male form.

Q: Can I breed my Faeleon?

A: No, there are only males.

Q: How many times can the Dray Breed?

A: Just one time for two eggs, so make it count!

Q: How many times can the Tomyu breed?

A:1st generation, as being my first customers get to breed indefinately, though if this gets out of hand I'll have to put a limit on it. The generation that comes from a breeding of two 1st gens will be a 2nd gen. 2nd gen's can breed up to three times.

Q: How many of these pets can I own?

A: I have no limit at this time as to how many you can own for the Tomyu, but you are only allowed one free Dray when there's a give away and the limit for customs is the same as the Tomyu's. Faeleons are only going to be for Auction and very rarely sold.

Q: Do we have to roleplay?

A: Yes, if you want your pet to breed you do. In the case of the Faeleon of course you don't have to. Unless later the females are discovered and they become a breedable.
