Mutants are a minority in Gaia that is overrun with humans, elves, demons, angels, and anything and everything in between. This safe haven for outcasts is a perfect home for descendants of mutants from Earth who need extra guidance and re-assurance. When an oracle mutant discovered that Syrenrei would become pregnant with mutant children, she ushered the babes and youths to go to Gaia and avoid the eternal wars and conflict she saw in their future. Seeing this as an accepting place with many homes, she has another mutant on her side open a portal.
Syrenrei now periodically recieves mutant children descended from famous and powerful heroes and outcasts on her doorstep. Perhaps they will make their own "Mutant X" or "X-Men" or something of the sort... only time will tell. For now, these confused infants and children need homes.

Prices: This is going to be an experimental "gradual" system.
-Babies will always be 300g.
-When you are ready for your baby to be a child (no less than 2 weeks after you get your baby), send another trade for 300g. This is the cost for aging to a child.
-To age to a teen, you send another 300g... remember, 2 weeks must pass between them becoming a child and a teen and you MUST choose a power for them that you may PM to Syrenrei.
- To become an adult, because this takes me longer, it will cost 500g and you must wait 3 weeks after they become a teen to age them.

Why this system? First of all, you are in control of your child aging and I concentrate more on coloring and drawing than how old your child is. Two, you have to actually keep up with them for them to grow. Third, people who don't have a lot of gold can gradually earn it for each phase. All four phases cost less than 2k, so no complaining!

Types: Mutants may be descended of an X-Men or mutant from another source like Mutant X, but may NOT be that character. As always, X-Men is copyright of Marvel and Mutant X of WB (I believe). There will never be more than two mutants with the same power. I encourage you to create your own powers, and not depend on comics and shows for inspiration ^_^. Please see the "Mutants" section for more information on powers available and ancestors available.

Stages: The four stages are baby, child, teen, and adult. You must send a trade with the correct amount to Syrenrei to age your child, and between each phase at least 2 weeks must pass. Remember to give your mutant a power when they are a child so that I can show this in their picture.

Breeding: I have decided I WILL have breeding, but keep in mind the following: (1) They must be arpeed. Mutants are people; they are as likely to breed without reason as you are. (2) Children may or may not have the same mutation as their parents. This all depends on whether we have a gazillion telepaths or "Icemen" running around and your input.

Role-play You do not NEED to role-play your character; however, if you create a diary you are certainly welcome to pm me the link to the diary page in the Breedables RP thread. I will add it to the information in the Parents List. RPed characters MAY get priveleges in the future, but if/when they do, I will post what these will be.

Even though you need not arpee, when your baby grows into a child, you MUST decide on a power for them. When they are a teen you must likewise decide on a codename. YOU WILL NOT GET A CERT IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS.

Latest News on role-play: If you chose to role-play, when you're an adult PM me with their diary/journal and a description of what you'd like them to look like as an adult. While I can not promise to be able to draw everything perfectly, since you honor my creation with life, I will do my best for you.

Since in all mutant storylines powers are not always unique, neither are they here; however, to encourage diversity and creativity, I ask there be only TWO characters with the same power (one male, one female).

I will list here mutants that have descendants. Again, only TWO mutants may be descended from any X-Man because what makes them a descendant is that they share the same power as their ancestor: IE Rogue's descendant would have her absorbtion power. Since Jean Grey and Xavier or even Psylocke have powers so alike, there will only one descendant from each of them any any other cases that are as similar.

In the following list, a (M) indicates that there is one descendant of this mutant and he's male, so there can only be one more and it must be a girl (Female). If there is no number, that ancestor is taken.
