Two worlds, so near and yet so far from one another. One, within the midst of a crisis, guardians vanishing due to the foul musings of an insane goddess. The poor Tomyu live in fear wondering if their guardian is next or with equal horror if they themselves will be sucked down into the abyssal swamp that has claimed two of their fae friends. A group of brave Guardians and Tomyu stand at the beginning of a journey with all hopes that they will be able to rescue those that were lost. Fear clenching their insides as they stare out across the dank steaming waters and pooling lava pits that hinder their advance into territory that they should dare not tread.

For the Guardians and Tomyu that are trapped below the suface of the Isle, there is little to be seen in the darkness. The faint glows of moss here and there cast an eerie pale blue upon their glossy black prison of tunnels and caverns deep beneath the surface. One hope remains for these tormented souls, that if there was a way in, there had to be a way out. For those that were more trapped then others, one named Lord Changeling, despairs in a fed and watered like a beast by a wicked little Tomyu named Eclipse that is somehow bonded to him though falls under the direct commanded of the feared Goddess Vaun Tei.

Yet, the Goddess' have been thrust into a forced slumber, a state in which the Goddess Oola Kira deemed the only way to give those that dwelt upon the isle a chance for survival. A little too late it was realized that the fiendish Vaun Tei had set amidst the swamp, traps to capture those that wandered there uninvited.

In the favor of the Guardians and the Tomyu, the Goddess Baal Lura has summoned the aid of a Unicorn, if there needs be healing and to give protection to those in need of it when the time comes. Oola Kira bestowed the gift on knowledge and protection upon the valiant Tomyu's and their guardians, watching over them now even as she sleeps with her sisters indefinately.

Lord Changeling's Cerpence, self proclaimed Queen of the scaled folk has found an advantage for them all by summoning forth a creature of the swamp to help them avoid any more traps, both for the Tomyu and the Guardian's if she deems it to be so. At her call, a strong full grown male alligator measuring 15ft in length is now approaching the summoner.

The Dray, forage for sweet grasses in the fields. The majestic creatures keeping a keen eye upon their own companions, not allowing them for their over protective nature to take part in this rescue attempt. Though if it is that one of the Companions insists, the Dray will have no choice but to help in this quest to save the other's caught in this travesty.

A single Faeleon dwells within the mountains, having yet to make himself known to the others and having yet to realize what peril has befallen the land. He is alone though he does not have to be if he would just step down and share his strength and magic with the others. Yet, the other's do not know of his existance so they are unable to call for his help.

(*nodnodnod* Okay - Rune is my all-purpose RP character, she's the 'mother' of Alter the Heirling, Dray the Konokai Child, and Kairnai, the little female Tomyu sphere. She's currently wandering in Tomyu lands looking for someone who can tell her about Tomyus. Marrow the Maydel is Alter's pet feline. *might add the Miendrakes if they aren't too much*)

"Marrow!! Come back here!" A child's voice echoes across the isle, female and almost distressed. Following the voice, one would come across a small girl, roughly six or seven years old, pale skin decorated with blue tattoos that complimented her long green hair and feathered, green / blue wings. Dressed sensibly in breeches, boots and a tank top, she carries a small leather pack and appears to be running after a large, blue and green cat. "You heard Mom! No running off!"

"Never mind that it's what she's doing." A soft voice farther back comments teasingly. Standing in a rather clear area, a short teenaged girl with long, deep blue hair grins wryly, shifting her own pack to the other shoulder. Beside her, another child - slightly older than the first, with reddish-brown hair that spikes on top and ponytails in the back, green eyes and draconic-styled wings - rubs her nose, being careful not to disturb the covered basket she carries. "It smells nice here." The little girl comments, sniffing. "Woodsy."

a small little dray hatchling walks with its rather odd hop'flap. he calls himself Nynoron. no one knows where he came from. he looks around wanting to meet some new friends.

(*mutters about having been kicked off the comp last night* Phooey, now I'm all mixed up. For the sake of my sanity, Rune and company are on the second isle, near Within and such. Oh! And the basket now holds Kairnai and Aura the Willow Leafling - and no more pets, as it's insane.)

The small winged girl - Alter - pauses in the middle of her run, her delicate, pointed face fowning as she looks from side to side. "Hullo?" She calls softly. Rune, catching up to her with Dray, raises an eyebrow. "What's wrong, Alt?"

"I heard a voice." The child explains, leaning down to scoop up a returned Marrow the Maydel. "It was a pretty voice, like yours. She was yelling. And I heard laughing."

"Scary laughing or good laughing?" Dray asks, carefully checking the basket. Inside, the little Tomyu sphere and willow egg are tucked with soft blankets. Her little sister thinks for a minute. "Good laughing." She proclaims finally. "Fun laughing, like playing."
