11.03.04 12:29am -

Today, or yesterday rather, was a rather normal day... nothing was really new. James and I hung out in the morning. We went to go vote, and we came home. Went out to eat, then came home again and I took a nap. When I awoke James was already gone over to a friends house so I decided to do some laundry and spend some time with my Plumeria plant from Hawaii. As I moved my plant out of the way of the sprinklers so I could tend to it, I noticed something rather shiney and kinda of purple stuck the the underside of one of the leaves. Now... if you know anything about Bakersfield, then you know that we don't have many butterflies. Thinking that it was rather odd, I just left it as is and wandered back inside to work on some stuff on the computer. Chii and Darc came in as usual to be with me, but when Chii jumped on my desk she lunged for my shoulder! Moving quickly out of the way I turned to see what she was after... there was the butterfly... just... laying there. It was cold outside and now getting dark so I decided to keep it for a bit. I put her on the hawaiian flowers that James had gotten me for my birthday just a few days before, and closed her and the flowers in the bathroom so she would have some peace from the cats. When James came home, I told him about my encounter and told him to be careful if and when he ever opened the bathroom door. Thinking this whole thing was quite curious, James decided to look for himself... stange thing was... he never saw the butterfly... he just thought I was making the whole thing up! I went in and tried to show him, but I couldn't find it either! I wonder where it is hiding...

12.10.04 8:16am-

Strangest thing happened... o.O I awoke this morning to see a little girl... and I mean LITTLE... like... no more than six inches tall... IF that... sitting on the edge of my japanese water fountain. He feet were hanging in the water and she hummed to herself lightly. Sitting up a bit I just kind of blinked in shock. She took notice of me, smiled, giggled and blushed a bit and then went back to her playing...

Lona:

*she smiled to herself and sighed* After so long I am finally free... It seemed like it was forever that I was in that caccoon. At least I was able to find a nice hidden spot from the larger creatures so I could transform.

I am beginning to feel like myself again... this skin... so new yet so old and comfortable... *blinking she looked up* It seems that the one who has been caring for me might finally wake up and see me now...

Kit: o.O why hello there

Lona: *smile* Hello...

Kit: Where did you come from?

Lona: I am not surprised that you do not recognize me... *smiles again* I am that small butterfly that you found and took in not to long ago...

Kit: The one that got lost in the bathroom?!?!?

Lona: *giggles and nods* Actaully.... I was in a caccoon. It was time for me to reawake into my current form.

Kit: *stares and notices the tiny girl wrapped in leaves* I see you found my plumeria plant...

Lona: *nods* Yes... I hope that you don't mind... *blush*

Kit: *shakes her head* Do you want... something else maybe? Something more comfortable?

Lona: *blinks* Oh I am very comfortable... I would prefer to stay in this.

Kit: *still blinking in a bit of shock* ... Im Kit... *looks to her two black cats* ... and these ar-

Lona: Darc and Chii *nods* They told me....

Kit: o.O

Lona: *laughs* Animal Empathy.... how else do you think I would have survived the trip from that other place to here?

Kit: Wow... that's kinda neat... maybe you can tell me what they think about me sometime.

Lona: *laughs again and motions a hand to the cats who are sleeping ON Kit* I think they like you.

Kit: *smiles and rustles to get out of bed, waking the two cats up* So what do you know about the place you are in?

Lona: *scrunches her nose* Nothing much actaully...I was hoping that you would be able to help me out with that... *motions to Darc to come over to her, when he does she lightly hops onto his back*

Kit: *laughs* I take it that he is your ride?

Lona: *grins* You might be too from time to time... seems this place is a little larger than I.

Kit: *nods and smiles* Fair enough... let me show you around...
