Then you must of course have some interest or obsession with the Dark Arts... Oh--let me introduce myself, I am Vincent von Eldritch, here on behalf of Mistress Beatrice. She, my sire, is to be credited with the creation of all our fledglings, you should be honored enough to be given the chance to purchase such unique specimens.

What? You want to know more about the Kyuuketsuki? Very well. They are a unique tribe of Vampires sired by Mistress Beatrice, and born anew as opposed to the rendition of true siring. In other words, we have devised an easier way to create those of our kind rather than having to bite and exchange blood with mortals. Now our fledglings will be true bred Vampires...

<center>+ A Brief Note About Fledglings:
As of current, only male Fledglings will be offered. However, as this shop progresses, female Fledglings will be offered through auction. Why is this, you ask? Mistress Beatrice prefers to sire males--she finds other females often times, inferior--but on occassion she will sire a female and release her under special circumstances.

April.17.05: Pickup on page 32 for the owners of the newly grown hybrids. Congratulations and be sure to take good care of them if you would like them to continue growing. smile

April.08.05: Okay. So I've decided to finally get off my lazy butt and get things moving around here (no, I've actually been sick for quite a while, thus was not motivated to do anything shop-related). There will be a flatsale as soon as I finish up the things off my bribe and auctioin list. Hopefully which will be done sometime before the end of next week.
Mar.14.05: Another pickup on page 25. biggrin
Mar.10.05: Congratulations to the owners of the fully grown bats! Pickup can be found on page 23.
Feb. 28.05: Keep an eye out for the first modified vampire auction! Modified vampires will be renditions of famous vampire characters, our first characters will be Lestat and Louis of Anne Rice's Interview With the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat.

"Mistress Beatrice! Please, rethink your actions!"

"Hush, Vincent! Hush!" She placed a finger to my lips, her scornful voice piercing my protests. Though, she seemed to immediately rethink her tone, as she smiled apologetically, shaking her head. "You must lead in my stead, my dearest Vincent, take care of the fledglings."

I bit my lip. "But Mistress--"

Again she shook her head. At this I was silenced, and let my chin rest against my chest with a heavy sigh. The thoughts of how she could leave me at such a time continued to race through my mind, just before the new moon, before her own fledglings could be born. Of course these fledglings, as she referred to them, were not what I thought.

Lifting my chin up, she stared at me with her beautiful eyes again. "Do not cry, you must be strong in my absence, I shall not be gone forever."

And though I knew she spoke the truth, even the moments to which she was not with me I felt a terrible ache in my heart. It was love, and a taboo love at that. "When shall I look for you, Mistress Beatrice?"

Wrapping her arms around me, she embraced me for the first time in many nights. Standing upon her toes, she whispered in my ear softly, "You will know, my dearest, you shall know..."

I wanted to tell her how I felt, as if she did not know, I wanted to express my guilty love affairs with her, but she was the first to take action. As I opened my mouth to speak, I tensed with paralysis. There was a sharp sting on my neck, a sudden weakness at my knees, nausea that caused me to sink limply to the floor. With my dying eyes, I stared up at her, her flowing hair spilling over her shoulders as she cut herself with a nail above her breast; the crimson blood beckoning to me as she lifted my head and pressed my lips to her cut. All I remember of that moment was the taste of her blood, sweet as nectars from the gods, and her succulent voice, spoken in quiet, fluent whispers.

"Drink my dearest Vincent, for this is our toast to your new life...in death."

So you're just starting out with your fledgling. They need to be kept in dark places, and usually wont come out of their coffins. This is the first step of their growth, and will be the deciding factor to what kind of Vampire they grow up to be.

--Next Stage-- In order to have your fledgling grow into a bat, you must wait two weeks. This is the only time-based stage.

It has taken you two long weeks, but you've finally managed to take care of your fledgling so that it has grown into bat form. It now will become more active and fly out every night in search of food. Of course, it will always return to its coffin during the day to hang upside down and sleep.

--Next Stage-- In order to have your bat grow into a hybrid, you must be sure to take good care of it. You must RP with him on the officially thread, or else he will not grow.

Ah! It seems your fledgling is growing accustomed to your caretaking and has changed into its hybrid stage. Though it is still a bat, it takes a slightly larger--more human--shape and will set out for its first taste of blood. Not human blood, mind you, but animal blood; mainly livestock.

--Next Stage-- In order to have your hybrid grow into a Vampire, you must must must RP with him on the offically thread. If he is not RPed with, he will never reach the adult stage, unless the upgrade is being offered through auction.

Oh, congradulations! You have finally managed to rear your fledgling into a fully grown Vampire. This is the final stage of growth where he becomes more independant and sets out stalking human prey. Remind him to clean up after his victims, though.

Will only be offered through auction or (VERY rarely) through bribing--best offer wins. Our first "bribe custom" will be offered after our first flatsale. Customs will be immediately created at the Vampire (final) stage of growth, unless otherwise stated. All bribes must be sent via PMs.
