4/19/05 - Flatsale tomorrow, 4PM PST! After the Avian sale, there will be an Arctic series, a Reptilian series and an African series!
4/16/05 - Flatsale over! EIGHT new eggs up for sale soonish! Previews up!
4/15/05 - Flatsale started!
4/13/05 - Flatsale to be held on 4/15/05 at 4PM PST (8PM EST)
4/12/05 - Flatsale eggs up, flatsale date TBA!
4/12/05 - Shop opening soon, getting thread situated and stuff, story getting smoothed out. Wee! Thanks to padfootspaws for the lineart, I was up laaaaate last night finishing up the banners and the shading on the Jerboa bases. biggrin

These are the basic thread rules. Etiquette for the flatsales, auctions, raffles and the like will be discussed later. ^_^

Thar's the rules!

+ No stealing the art. Full credit goes to padfootspaws for the lineart, and all tags, banners, coloring, blah blah blah are done by ME.

+ No flaming. It gives me headaches. If you don't like my coloring, don't like the lines, don't like the banners, don't like ..whatever.. nobody said you had to come to the thread. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. biggrin

+ I prefer no bumping, but I do like chitter chatter in the thread. Feel free to RP your Jerboa in any way you like in the thread, and if the public wishes for a sexy new thread for RP, I can set one up elsewhere. <3

+ No begging, pleading, whining, bitching, moaning. If there is an issue, bring it to me in PM and we can get things straightened out. I'm a really reasonable person. Don't fear me! u_u

+ Uhh, I think that's all the rules. But I can add more if I feel like it! >:O biggrin

There are FIVE ways to get a Jerboa!
- Flatsale
- Auction
- Raffle
- Contest
- Being active in the thread!

Flatsales
- They will sell for 1k at a flatsale.
- They will be sold in even numbered groups.
- You can buy one at a time. For yourself, for a friend. However, you cannot buy one for yourself AND reserve one for a friend. ):
- Flatsales will be announced a few days ahead of time. Of course, I might hold impromptu flatsales if I so desire. biggrin Samples of the eggs to be sold will be available for preview. O:
- On the day of the flatsale (which will be held in this thread) I will announce that there is going to be a flatsale 10 minutes previous to the start time. Jerboas are sold on a first come, first serve basis, and once I post 'GO' you will have the opportunity to post your preference. (They'll be numbered or lettered.)
- After the flatsale is complete, send the trade to me with the name of your Jerboa in the title of the trade. That just makes things so, so much easier on me when I go to tag the little critters.
- All thread rules apply to the flatsales.

Avian Series

ROW ONE are MALES, Blue Jay
ROW TWO are FEMALES, from left to right: Guillemon
These eggs are colored the SAME colors as the eggs of the actual birds are. The only indication of the colors of the Jerboa inside are the colors on the horns. :>

Auctions
- These will be far and few in between.
- Auctions will start at 4k. These will be special, rare, one of a kind, or custom Jerboa.
- Auctions will run for one week. I don't like long auctions.
- No sniping, you bastards! XD If you haven't bid by the last day, you cannot bid a'tall.
- Once the auction is over, winner must send the trade and then PM me any necessary information. biggrin
- All thread rules apply to the auctions.

Raffles
- These will occur when I feel like it. biggrin
- Depending on the situation, raffle tickets might be free or they might cost 100g.
- You can buy raffle tickets for yourself, a friend, your grandma, whoever you like.
- When buying tickets, send trade to me.
- Raffle winner will be chosen by randomizer.

Contests
There isn't much to say about these. It might be a creative contest, a coloring contest, a story contest. They'll be free to enter.

Jerboa have three stages. These are not RP mandatory pets, so they kinda grow on my schedule. Please direct link the egg and baby stage, but once your Jerboa ascends into the adult stage, you must host your own images! :\

The egg stage is a sneak peek as to what your Jerboa might look like! This stage lasts about a week or so, give or take a few days.

Ohsnap, how cute! They're adorable in this stage, and just so snuggly soft. This stage lasts a few weeks or longer, and they can be stopped at this stage or put into the next stage with one of the berries that will be shown in the shop post.

These are the final stages for your Jerboa, males and females respectively. Now that they are adults they can breed! Please remember to host these to your own server, as they will be deleted after one week of their final growth. They can also be given a berry to move them back one stage.

Once your Jerboa has reached the adult stage, they can have clutches of their very own. A Jerboa will generally have 1-4 eggs per clutch. Breeding rules are as follows:
- Breeding slots will open once per month (only if there are adult Jerboa available.)

- These slots will cost:
3k - one egg.
4k - two eggs.
5k - three eggs.
6k - four eggs.
Anything higher than this, we can talk privately. (:
(Prices can be split between owners!)

- Once the Jerboas have been bred it will take usually a week before they are delivered, perhaps longer if it is a large clutch.

-You will have the opportunity to keep your eggs, give your eggs away, or give them back to me to flatsale them off. You cannot sell your eggs!

There are three berries that can be purchased for you to give to your Jerboa!

The Ezgrow Berry - 1k:
This will cause your Jerboa to jet forward into the next stage! These can be given to eggs or babies. (Don't ask me how the eggs eat them. I think they're uhh.. magically ingested. >>; )

The Nomorgrow Berry - 500g:
This will cause your Jerboa to cease growth! It can be given to the first two stages. If you want an egg forever, you can do that! O:

This will cause your Jerboa to recess one stage. This can be given to adults or babies.

Yo! I'm Nyxa, and you've probably seen me around a few choice shops and stuff. I've even had a few of my own that have kinda dwindled, but this time I'm out on my own with some great lineart and (sorta) improved coloring skills. biggrin

I have five RP heavy 'children' that I journal with, so I'm not really looking for an RP heavy pet. (Not that I'm expecting offers for them, hehe.) I'm a bit picky about what pets I'll trade for, so just PM me and ask, if I turn you down, no hard feelings, eh? I'll also take art as a pet trade, preferably art of my avatar. biggrin

Favorite shops of mine include: Kuatalmot, Aerandir, Tall Tales, GoGo Sushi, and The Beat.
