Took a couple of liberties with the effects of the spell...hope that's okay. The tempting scent of dinner wafted through the farmhouse, gently enticing Feather Tang awake from his nap. Since his healing, he'd been painfree and surprisingly less weak. Yet, for whatever reason, it made him want to sleep quite a bit. It could have just been the workload he took on himself though. The peace of his awakening was not to last. Crashes from downstairs in the kitchen jolted his mind into alertness. His uncle might have always seemed just a tad bit out of place in the kitchen, but it wasn't like he was a total klutz. For him to be able to hear dishes crashing through the floor, it must have been many of them. The Pegasus carefully rolled out of bed, a little awkwardly still, and trotted down the stairs. "Uncle Blueblood?" He could hear more noises from the kitchen...and a strange voice.
Stepping through the doorway, he called out again. "Uncle Blueblood? Can ah he-" Feather froze practically dead where he stood. He was not seeing this- another one of the infamous Nightmares backing his uncle into the wall. What was more- he vaguely knew that richly accented voice. And from the words that they both spoke, he finally realized it. Applejack- that was his aunt's name; he remembered because the mere mention of her name seemed to send his father into a dark place. Not as bad as that of his mother, but still.
Spike had been right about their identities, at least this one. His aunt Applejack was a Nightmare. And if he didn't do something, his uncle would- wait, what was she saying. His daughter- Corn Silk! It seemed that his cousin was in danger, again.
But right now, he had to stop her, or at least distract her. He took a step forwards...and almost fell through a bad spot on the floorboards. That was odd. Indoor wood wasn't supposed to just rot like that. Was that her ability? He scanned the kitchen quickly, trying to come up with anything to stop her. " Aun- Aunt Applejack?! Corn Silk? Where is she? He tried to make himself more menacing, at least as much as a one-winged, bandaged up colt could be.

Rot looked at the foal who had dared to challenge her with disgust. This little twig would challenge her? He had already run afoul of something and lost a wing, now he wanted to rot with the useless prince, hm? She whirled her tail lazily, like a lasso.
“Ya wanna fight t’Rot, huh, sugarcube?”
She stepped towards the pony, but the spell weakened the floor under her, making a floorboard collapse under her weight. Rot swore and struggled to regain her footing. Stupid house! After she took care of the prince and this sapling, she’d bring the whole place down till only worms could bear to live there!
The prince finally mustered some courage and used his magic to raise a frying pan menacingly. “Lady Applejack, though it will pain me greatly, I’m going to have to ask you to stand down or I will use force.”
“You wouldn’t hit a lady, ya ninny. T’ain’t laike ya at all.”
“You… if what you claim is correct, you killed my daughter, I’m afraid I have no choice!” He swung the pan, but seemed to be held back by something. By the time the heavy iron made contact with Rot’s head, it was barely a tap.
“Ha, weak as Ah thought…”
Blueblood glared at her, but it was clear he couldn’t really fight against the Nightmare. His iron pan fell to the floor, whole but still defeated.
((There, look Feather, METAL IS OK! Foreshadow? Also Blueblood is Flynn Rider >> Frying pan!!!!))

Forget physics, they're ponies xP As the abomination-his own family!- stepped towards him, Feather wanted nothing more than to turn tail and run. Yet, he knew he couldn't just abandon his uncle to save his own skin. He'd have to take her down, as peacefully as possibly. She caught in a floorboards as if it was only paper. It gave the colt just a little more time to think. Blueblood stepped back into the game. He stepped back to more stable ground and unconsciously stomped his back hooves in nerves. He didn't want to watch his uncle run straight to his death, but WHAT TO DO? Come on, hit her! he cheered silently. Even if she was just stunned, they would have a little more time to figure something else. Feather watched the iron pan creep along, his perception of time nearly frozen, until it bumped into her head and clattered to the ground. But of course, he couldn't expect the prince to hurt a mare, much less his own wife. Yet, he had learned something. Metal was safe! A sudden wisp of inspiration sped through his mind, and his inventor's mind caught it like a frog. His uncle and father didn't like the way he left his half-finished inventions and supplies everywhere, but it might just save them now. He ran to the sofa and pulled out a chain, a portion of a little something he'd been working on but had forgotten. The pegasus had an idea, but he'd only get one chance to make it work.
He ran back to the kitchen, where Rot still stood menacingly over the unicorn, slowed but not deterred by the swamp of rotten floor. Feather closed his eyes, took a deep breath and twirled the chain through the air once before whipping it towards her. Something pulled on the other end and something fell with a crash. He opened his eyes to see that his enemy had fallen into a hole. It seemed he'd succeeded in tripping her, but if she was unconscious or merely annoyed he had no clue. Panting from the effort, he glanced at Blueblood for a moment. "Ya, ya okay?" He crept towards the edge of the crevasse to see how much damage he had done, lifting the chain again just in case.

((Sorry for taking so long. I know. I suck. Also, I forgot what her color is. Meh))
Terra had followed the others to the hospital when they'd taken Feather Tang. She'd wanted to stay and make sure that he was ok, but something in the back of her mind was telling her that she needed to check on her sister and her niece. So, she flew back home, hoping that they were both ok.
When she got home, she was relieved to find that her worry had been for nothing and that both of them were safe. She helped get her niece into bed, then took a few minutes to fill her sister in on what was happening. It took a little while, but once Derpy understood what was going on, she told Terra to go and make sure that her friends were ok.
She went back to the hospital, only to be told that Feather had gone home. So she took off for Sweet Apple Acres.
As she approached the familiar farm, though, she heard a crash, and hurried in the direction it had come from, just in time to see Feather Tang knock Nightmare Rot down.
"Feather!" She called out to him, hurrying inside. She hurried over to him, but stopped, something sparkling and catching her eye. She turned and spotted a necklace on a wall...with....her cutie mark? Distracted ((by shiny because ADD xD )), she hovered over to it and examined it for a moment before picking it up. As she did, she noticed faint hum emitting from the jewelry and she didn't know why, but she felt like she had to put it on.

Rot struggled to her feet, finally getting free of the tangling chains. The little brat, who she felt like she should recognize but she willfully didn't, was looking down at her with what she assumed was a mocking expression. The little varmit! He thought just because she was down, she was out? Far from it!
She jumped out of the impressive hole she had made in the floor, making the one-winged pegasus back away. Swinging her tail roughly, she flipped it forward, just missing his neck. "Lil' foals should hush an' let th'big ponies talk... maybe Ah'll start wi' that tongue o' yer's..."
Just before she struck, however, something caught her eye. A second pegasus, this one dark grey, coming up behind the colt. On her neck was... the symbol was unfamiliar, but there was some sort of resonance from the necklace she immediately recognized. "Hey! That there's mine!"
Ignoring her previous target, she surged toward the filly. The smaller pony seemed surprised to see a large, angry Nightmare bearing down on her, but not particularly scared. This bothered Rot. She stopped short and glared at the pony. "Ya listen, an' listen good! Ah'm gonna turn yer bones inta liquid ooze an' there won't be nothin' recognizable of ya t'bury when Ah'm done, so ya best beg fer yer life now, an' hand over that fancy-schmancy element thing or else Ah'm liable t'get real, real angry!" To prove her point, she flicked her tail forward, intending to disintegrate the hat right off the filly's head.
((Ugh, why is this so gross and dark I'm sorry guys))
