FAQ

Q1 ) You're so expensive! Can't I just send you some cash instead?

A: No. The closest I will get to accepting cash for drawing over the net is you paying me in donation letters/items.


Q2 ) Wont you pleeeaaaasssse give me some art?

A: Begging really only pisses me off. If you don't want to pay, either try the random number contest or bump 100 times. Also, 1.5k is not that much for a sketch, so get over it.


Q3 ) I run a breedables/pet shop. Do you want to buy some of my pets?

A: The answer to this, depending on my financial situation, is more than likely yes. I love pets and want to collect them, any donated pets will get your banner in my affiliates list and, more than likely, get you a sketch too.


Q4 ) I like your avatar! Will you sell me *** off it?

A : No. It took effort, and a lot of luck to get this avi put together.
I'm not going to part with any of the items now, after I've been lucky enough to get them in the first place.


Q5 ) Can I draw you?

A : Of course! I love gift art of all types, I'd love it if you would draw me.


Q6 ) Why don't you have more shaded examples?/Why is shaded stuff so rediculously expensive?

A : They take me HOURS to do. I barely kept track last time but I'd estimate that pic took me a total of eight hours to shade, and that isnt counting the two hours beforehand to work the pose. This is why they are priced so high as well.

If you translate the price for a shaded roughly into donation-letters, it'd be, perhaps, 2.5 letters. This means basically, $6.25. That is just about minimum wage for ONE HOUR. When I am spending ten hours on these things, I could charge a lot more.


Q6 ) Why wont you do Original Character art anymore? You used to!

A : Simple. I hated doing it. It got me in an awful state of mental blockage, constantly editing and editing (for free, even) trying to get something up to that persons standards. And then? It was lined and colored for under 2k.


Q7 ) So, why are you so expensive anyways?

A : Because when you have your prices affordable to everyone, you get a LOT of orders from people who, when the time comes to pay up, simply tell you "Oh ummmmm I spent the gold on something else. I can still have my art, right?"
Being told that doesn't give me back the time and work I spent on that picture. It just makes me feel utterly taken advantage of.

So now that people have to THINK before they order, hopefully I will get a lot less of that. Also, could you imagine me doing ten hours of work for 2k? Hmmm, I cant.


Q8 ) I dont have donation letters but would like to pay you in other items, can I do that?

A : Sure you can. But saying that doesnt mean I want 100 peasant dresses instead of straight gold. When you pay me store items, I don't want multiples of something that is worth like 400gold, either find a store item that covers most of the price (like the Pimpin' stuff, or formalwear for guys etc. ) or find me something decent (fishnet, a new shirt, etc ) and add that along with gold to pay me.


Q9 ) I bought your art. I can do whatever I want with it now, right?

A : Yes and no. You are free to resize it (not edit it) and use it in your signature or profile. But if you are gonna use it in something bigger, a wallpaper, a comic, etc, ask me first because in those cases I like to be given credit, and my teeny little signature isnt much credit.


Q10 ) Can I save and reuse any of your shop examples?

A : NO. This is considered art theft, and will be reported if anyone is seen doing it. You may save the art to look at it, but do not redistribute/re-use it. Have some common courtesy for the lady that worked her a** off to make that picture.
