It was the first one in awhile that had asked me that. So I guess Gaia is stepping up. I have had numerous people begging me though. And that is annoying too. That is what I like about Roliana. No begging. Create your wishlist and quest thread and if people want to donate they will.

Roliana is much nicer in that way, because then noobs don't go around saying: i r poor!11!11!!!! TT _ TT you need to give me goldz so i can waste it all on noobie things!—especially when i already have like a full wardrobe on here! (so not fair—when i came here, i never got anything 'cept that rag of hobo clothes, you know, that dress lol but then gaia changed and gave real cool clothes to newbies...)

If you wear them with the right things, they almost look punkish like.

Oh yeah I know! I'd sell the other stuff, keep the gloves =) Like in daily chance now (so unfair also lol.. if that had only been available when we were first here), whenever i get those raggedy set items, i only keep the glove ones
I also put anyone who begs on my ignore too.. but because I don't wear my most expensive items on gaia anymore barely ever, no one begs from me lol and because i don't post in forums (except here) usually, no one knows i exist! ha ha twisted

Beggars can be quite the annoyance. sweatdrop I find that the beggars are usually the ones that quit after a few months on gaia. When I started gaia it was so much fun hardly any beggars around. I'm always where my nm scarf its like my badge of honor. I rarely venture out of this guild anymore. Just got so sick and tired of all the begging and hardly any topics in the forums I want to discuss with others. When I started on gaia you started nude. :p Thinking back of how gaia was when I started makes me a bit depressed to see how it is now. Granted it has a great deal of features that I like but some of the people I just can't stand. I even stopped randomly giving out gold because one person kept asking for more and constantly asked for me to help her friends. Sorry for the wall of text just not feeling too cheerful right now and this helped a bit.

I know what you mean, Herrek. I opened a charity thread a while ago and donated to whoever stopped in. But only the noobs would post one bump leave and continue to pm me for more gifts. They wouldn't even bother stopping in my thread anymore. It was very annoying. I just don't answer them anymore.
Good thing we have this guild to vent all our frustration. wink

I am constantly working in the market, I posted alot, and I was active with games and donated. And that how come I had so much gold. Anyways it happened during the Valentine's event last year and I was so upset. I don't really venture into the forums too much anymore. Sometimes I greet the newbies and invite a few, but that is it. I wished the games would work again. I so had loved those. But I have to wait until late fall. But now I know they are working on it. Sorry for the rantin.

Because when they trace some botted item, and you buy it, they can accuse you of also being a bot w/out any proof whatsoever... Just that you bought and sold an item like that... I remember when that whole thing was a huge problem and everyone hated Gaia.. I wonder if it's still a huge problem? I don't go out in the forums a lot so I wouldn't know lol.. I don't think any of us do huh? lol

Because they said I might have gotten something that was botted. Like how am I going to know. I wonder if there is even a sure way of knowing. I even told them to look at the marketplace and everything. They would see everything is legit. Oh well nothing you can do about it. I wonder if the people who created this site even care about here anymore. I don't see them address issues anymore. Like ones people are asking for answers too. It seems to me like they are blowing off this site too.

Yeah I think they are blowing off the site. Ever since they started getting loads of money from it and realized that, they turned it into a newbie site (well, i mean, they aim it towards that audience at least); they've shirked their duties.
It's a real disappointment... And when the real injustices are going on is when they don't understand that the real culprit isn't who they persecute.
Lets take over gaia and rule it with fairness, justice and all good things! lol *takes Reds Bar n Grill flag and places it in the ground, christening the site as OUR OWN!*

I don't think they abandoned the site but at the same time I don't think they are doing enough. BTW if anyone would like to get a hold of me outside of this site you can always find me on xfire under the name superarchvile. Or pm me and I'll send you my email though I don't check that, that often. rolleyes Also, sorry to hear about your other account red. Luckily I've never had that happen. I've known some people that had happened to though they quit right after that and I haven't talked to them ever since. sweatdrop

Hey that's a good idea.. Maybe we should make a thread of where we can reach each other just in case one of us disappears some day lol.. (And I don't just mean getting banned—not that any one of us would for any reason.. but sometimes, like in those (like sassy's) cases, it's unwarranted)..
