- The True Beginning -

  • Nova; hybrid collection of ferret, elf, and a Druid Goddess's remains.

Truth - While the team itself thought they were dealing with a mere demi-Goddess of the Druids, the "Mage of Tainted Reality" had in fact had the remains of the unsealic dark fey, the Queen of Air and Darkness. Being that her title was in elder elvish, it had been translated into the simple word of "nature" that was then falsely backed up by the mage as being a lower level druid deity.

  • Typical alchemy transmutation was used to conduct the experiments.

Truth - The mage was in fact using sealing of the higher magic based from the Tree of Life. The queen's spirit was being lured and coaxed into the seal with every experiment, but would fail at the final step due to her strong efforts to resist the sealing process. The Queen of the dark fey was much to powerful compared to the simple tactics that were being used to capture her.

  • The council of the church and magic school officials deemed the project to be unmoral and demanded the experiments to end and all research destroyed to prevent further exploits of the knowledge.

Truth - The council had been informed by a devoted patron that a deity of a much higher level was actually being used and was thought to be the remains of "The Moragan," a Goddess that could merely be described as pure war and destruction. Fearful, the council covered up it's true findings and strictly enforced the idea that all research needed to be eradicated to prevent further "unmoral desiccation."

  • Nova had two "siblings" of simple reproduction of the mage's findings.

Truth - The mage had successfully pushed the Queen of Air and Darkness into a homunculus body, but was soon filtered into three separate bodies to weaken her power. Within only a single body, she was still able to function normally and lashed out with the intent to kill the mage. She would have been able to break free of her seal within a matter of hours if left intact. With her capture, the mage sustained a major injury to one full side of his face during the first sealing. A wing with patterns of a shadowed butterfly had been the Queen's method of attack, the result ended with an impression of her wing's dust since it did not fully connect as the mage dodged her assault. His face now harbors the imprint of her wing. Through the eye that was hit, he has the ability to see only the darkness that resides in all people, even the most holy of paladins were tainted in his eyes.

  • The True Intentions from the Mage:
When he was but a young man in his early twenties, he crossed paths with the Queen as she was enjoying one of her visits to the mortal world. The mage was a most handsome man and peaked the Queen's interest greatly. The mage fell in love with the dark fey and stayed with her for many years as her mortal lover. When he began to age, she told him there would be no way for the two of them to remain together due to his mortal life and tossed him to the wayside. Heartbroken, the man set out to find a way to stop his aging, the fabled Philosopher's stone. As the years passed he was able to successfully acquire the power of the stone and sot out his former lover to regain what he had lost years ago. Sadly, since the Queen was selfish and vain, she declared that she no longer saw the beauty she once did and no longer desired him. Enraged, he vowed to make her pay for his pain and wasted efforts. After a few years of research, he felt he may have a way to act out his revenge and help humanity at the same time. If he could harbor her power in a mortal form, he could extent the life of mortals by several years, allowing them more time on the physical plane. He claimed that it would strengthen the soldiers of armies in times of war against the darker forces and lessen the casualties from battle. When his good efforts were deemed unnecessary compared to the risks of summoning the goddess, his selfish reasons took hold and forced him to continue in secret. When he was ratted out by his former colleague, he was enraged that his revenge may not be finished and fought back with all his hatred and pain, making his magic wild and unpredictable. When he started to lose control of his power, he felt he needed to some how hide the bodies of his trapped goddess for future ambitions. When he fired his final ounce of power, he made sure to "accidentally" hit hie tower, rocketing the three bodies in separate directions to keep them from escaping for the time being. Upon his final attack he attached his soul to the P. stone and hide himself away to one day reemerge in a human body when the time was right and the council had all but forgotten him.
