She would feel well-rested by the time Chordata awakened in Ialu, a place even she only accesses in dreams. Perhaps it would be familiar from the days of her infancy, but that was highly unlikely, as the child was very young when she was last conscious in that world. The area she entered would normally be highly occupied, but thanks to the nature of this meeting, it was almost vacant, holding onto two forms in the dim light. What there was of light was cast by two orbiting moons, both relatively small in size. Their light was reflected in the ripples of the lake that both Senka were seated beside.
Although humans never quite see Ialu clearly, young Eilian children can see every part in crystalline detail, and Chordata would be no exception to this rule. Upon awakening, the young Senka would find herself already in the child body that her physical self was growing into as she slept, wearing her favourite clothing. It would take a moment before everything was in focus, and the moments would seem like a dream even while it all was. At times, the river running away from the lake would suddenly start flowing backwards, or in the blink of an eye would have widened as though it had aged a hundred years. Trees would turn from saplings to skyscrapers and back again, grass growing and dying and blooming all at once. Such is the appearance of a broken timestream. Even those living there seemed to be occasionally afflicted by the issue.
Despite any sense of free-will or curiosity, the young girl would feel immediately drawn to one certain area, particularly toward the two Senka who sat beside the lake. She would approach whether she desired to or not, and would therein be surprised by what she saw. Or perhaps not.
"Do we really have to wait here all night?" Shekinah murmured into the night air, chewing idly on a toothpick, gazing up at the slowly moving twin moons in their sky. The Senka looked younger than she likely was, though whether that was a trick of the light or time, it was hard to tell. Her blue lips sucked idly at the toothpick in her mouth and the patches of scales across her skin caught the moonlight in a very complimentary way. Her silver eyes locked onto the fishy form in the water and she flicked her veiled tail, waiting for an answer to her question.
"Patience, dear, patience," Sasha said lethargically from the water, her pointed nose just peeking into the cool night air. A slow smile spread across her teal-scaled face, amused in part by her mate's impatience. She knit her fingers together, letting her arm-fins spread out along the water's edge. "I hear this is quite the difficult process. She'll come when she comes, and not a moment longer." Still, even as she said this, Sasha's blue eyes scanned the landscape anxiously, and was unable to keep from puffing up every few minutes. The wait was killing her, too.
[[ As you may or may not have guessed, the fishy Senka and the fishy half-Senka are Chordata's parents. Also, try your best to give as much detail about what she looks like, how she's dressed, and what she's dressed in, as this is the official growth roleplay, and I'd like to get as close as possible. Even use links if you really want, anything's allowed as long as it'll help with her growth. ]]
