Here is where we can chat about the roleplay. ^^ Better than sending Notes and PMs back and forth, no?

I am happy to, ma petite proie~ It will be later though; right now I must go shopping! ^^
*ponder* I guess I will begin by having my dimensional witch warp Calliope to her shop. *laugh* Poor Calliope, blown about by the winds of fate without any choice in the matter.

Tant mieux XD I would be sad forcing you into beginning when you don't want to, the beginning is the hardest to me XD Take your time, I'm not in a hurry XD and I'll take soooooo much time too when we'll get started, I'll need to check dictionnaries and grammar books every two seconds so I don't make too many mistakes, or not XD Might take me some time undertanding what you wrote too XD I haven't got any problems when we are chatting but it's not the same thing at all XD
Aha, poor Calliope indeed, she miiiiight wonder what happened XD

All done~ The beginning has been set. X3 I wanted to leave it to you how to initially throw Calliope into this; whether it would amuse you most to interrupt her while she was "working" or in the bath or what. *laugh*
Let me know - and this goes for all of my posts, not just this first one - if there is something you ever want me to change to better suit what you want to do, or if I make a mistake, or anything like that. ^^

Yes, I read that <3 And yes I wanted to interrupt her in something though I don't know what XD I'll see that by writing XD Well well. Maybe not too much so it wouldn't be toooo embarrassing for her but a little still ahaha
Well it's okey for this one I guess XD I like a lot how you write... Well you have a lot more vocabulary than I do, obviously XD I might start imitating you so as to improve my style in English XD

I just realized both of my imaginings on how Calliope might be interrupted were totally perverted. *laugh* Sorry about that, Calliope. XD
*ahaha* I see you went with the work idea. I'm glad she's still clothed! That would have been awkward. Well, amusing for the witch, awkward for her friend. Ah, and I'm glad that you picked up on the fact that there's no moon. My witchy made sure to wait for a moonless night to grab Calliope. X3 She has SOME manners.
I'm glad you like my style, for obvious reasons. *hee* Don't emulate me though! Pick a professional author who has a proper grasp of the language. XD I tend to bend and twist the English language to suit my moods, so if you imitate me, you will likely fall into some bad habits, and your English teacher will likely not appreciate it.
*trots off to the roleplay thread* You probably want a better description of my characters to play off of with Calliope.
[edit] I feel like my post consume a bit of time, and I'm not sure if Calliope would really just be standing there letting my witch talk. *laugh* Feel free to have Calliope interrupt, and I can move some of the conversation to a later post.

Well, thinking perverted with Calliope is a natural thing, ahah. It's Calliope after all XD
Well, I thought that was what you were pointing at by precising that she was turning off all lights, that's why I also included some answers to such details in my post XD I took a guess and I apparently was right, so tant mieux XD
Aaaah, I'll tell you one thing my dear Meriko, many good authors play with language too <3 I do sometimes for French, but French is a hard language to twitch, too squared and definite. It's hard to create new things. English is easier on that point XD For instance, if you want to make an adjective of a noun, you can basically add "-y", right? I remember my grammar teacher taking "desk -desky" as an example XD ...Although I don't quite see how could be something described as "desky" XD But yeah, I actually was talking about doing it without really noticing it XD I sometimes write sentences I've read I don't know when, without realizing it's very close to something somebody wrote or said XD But if that can "reassure" you, I'd rather imitate Oscar Wilde, or J.Johnston XD That's what I've read in English lately XD But Oscar Wilde puts some French words in Dorian Gray, or words derived from French, that are are dignified for you, but as a French speaker, I'm not often allowed to use the easy way XD Friend of mine : "How do you say "armoire"?" (my friends keep asking me vocab as if I were a dictionary or something) "Er...Dunno. Jennifer Johnston wrote "mahogany armoire" a lot of time in her book. Might actually be a wardrobe though. I have NO idea." "Yeah, well never mind, I'll write this. If that's not that you're dead <3"
Ah, it's okay. We do it often with Videl. Iileena talks an awful lot, and not compulsory on the main subject (guess who she got that from =D), so I write and write and write, but she's always interrupted in the middle, but she still says the rest of it after her interruption and the character answers to that nontheless also XD And Videl has really hm... How can I put that? Really quick ideas. She takes so much time writing her post that she actually forgot about the dialogue she had imagined when she gets to it. Well now she writes the dialogue and then the narrative part to avoid that, but all I wanted to say that is that she can't stop at the middle of what she imagined as an answer to post it later, or she will forget abour it XD So we keep on having long dialogues XD
Oh, I don't know when I'll answer to your post, might be after my shower if I have time XD But I hang out with my best friends today, so I don't know. I do know however that you don't mind XD I hope XD
edit : Okay it took me time but it is done now <3

Yes, we take extreme liberties with our own language. I think it's said that the United Kingdom and the United States are two countries divided by a common language. *laugh* Something-y and something-ish are two ways we add to words or phrases.
There are a fair amount of borrowed words in English, and from all over. Angst, ennui, aloof, embargo, et cetera. I wonder what percentage of English is actually English. XD
Ah, sounds good. I will just barrel on through, then, and we'll fit our posts to each others as we go, like puzzle pieces. XD
And you are right; I don't mind at all. *hee* I will post a reply a bit later~ For now, to wash the dishes.

Ah, you would so not being able to take such liberties in French... aaand, I actually like that in English, but I'm a proud defensor of my home language XD Sorry for Videl, but the French Canadians do not speak "correct French" (L'académie française would say this probably XD) and do make mistakes. Not good XD You can't put French Canadian expressions in your texts, exeption for dialogues XD. But seriously, the only liberties that French people take are horrible mistakes. And I mean HORRIBLE. I can't explain it to you because you probably have to understand French grammar XD Well, I hate you Americans for making my word harder XDDDD (This is definitely ironic of course XD) I can't seem to make a difference between your accent and the british one when I speak, so I do both at the same time, I sound ridiculous and my teachers don't like that XD
Exactly XD Well if that does not bother you of course ^^ But I'm used to doing that since our posts got longer, and longer. It is actually totally a unrelastic manner in a way, but might be the more accurate... Sometimes you have sacrifices to make XD
As usual, take your time <3 I, am going to sleep, it's late...early...Well, it's time to sleep, really XD Wash up is not fun, buh. *hugs* I don't like doing it XD

*reads* The coincidence in Mielle's name is absolutely hilarious. I had no idea "miel" meant "honey" in French. XD I just made it up and thought it sounded suitable for her. "Kier" is actually Gaelic, but that's funny that almost everything about these two very different people serves to irritate Calliope in this scene. XD
I'm not doing it deliberately but I seem to have a natural talent for rubbing Calliope the wrong way with what I write. This roleplay promises to be very entertaining already. *snicker*
I don't dare try and learn French. XD I have been told that it is simply impossible to master the pronunciation unless you're native-born. Now that I know more about the language it just confirms my decision not to try and pick it up.
Ah, your teachers shouldn't bother so much about accents. XD We American like them for the most part. <3
I sometimes ramble on and on, so I think we'll get along just fine. *laugh*
Good night~ ^^ Sleep well.
[edit] Since you had asked me to, I shall pick out things that particularly catch my eye in your posts and we can de-construct them together. XD
"...a sweet one, more probably, maybe even sweeter than Fye's or Sophie's one..."
Here I would say, "...a sweet one, more probably, maybe even sweeter than Fye or Sophie..."
As you call Kier "a sweet one", it is he himself that is the "one". It is not that Kier has "one". Therefore when you switch to talking of Fye and Sophie as comparable wines, you should also speak of them as being the ones, not having ones.
"She listened to the rest in almost completely silence..." is not quite correct either. Two options would be:
"She listened to the rest in almost complete silence..."
...or...
"She listened to the rest, almost completely silent..."
"Silence" is a thing. "Silent" is a description. The silence is deafening. I am silent. So either the silence is complete, or she is completely silent. ^^ See?

Well, now you know <3 I was not sure it was on purpose or not, that is why I precised it in the post XD Everything irritates Calliope... For now =3 Well Kier sounded German to me, I took a guess XD
Oh, French pronunciation? Hm... Yes, I guess that a French is more or less able to master English completely, even its pronunciation though it's a pain, really XD But I don't know a single English-speaker who does not have an accent. Well not only English even... The problem is that there are so many sounds in French XD More than in English or Japanese XD Well anyway I'm your humble French servant if you need me XD
Yes, I was often told that XD But I have to do as they say until I get my diploma in...five years. God this will be long XD
Oooh, thanks ! I'm going to correct then <3 And pay attention to why I should do XD It's pleasant to have someone to correct you <3 I've always been the best in my class so I had to correct others with the teacher XD
Oh, I understand. Now that you tell me it seems so obvious that it must sounds strange XD... Ah, this is really why not being a native is so much of a disadvantage. I can't know what could sound natural or not, even though I'm listening and reading a lot of English.
Oooups. Yes, for "complete silence" that's actually a mistake I did because I'm typing too quickly on my keyboard XD That's how I do mistakes in French also ^^" I would have figured this out by reading it again, but I did not XD I do it often with completely and necessarily... I don't think of others XD Thanks for pointing this out <3
... I am actually so happy there is no other thing, this means I'm improving myself =3 I hope so XD *Hugs Meriko to thank her for the lesson XD*

I love how Mielle repeats "What the hell", I don't know exactly why, and that she is actually saying that Kier is sweet XD Oh, the temptation XDD
Have a nice day <3

The room Calliope will find herself in on the top floor of the keep, stone-walled and like all her other personal rooms, very richly furnished but more in the lines of "simple elegance" than overly ornate or fussy.
Daniel is in the room too, standing out of the way, and he is currently dressed in silver-on-black with lace at his neck and cuffs to match Ana's. I can't recall now whether I gave you a description of him but he is tall - probably just slightly taller than Calliope - with black hair tied into a low ponytail (about the same length as Fye's in my "Fye Fluorite Headshot" picture) with a black ribbon and dark brown eyes.
