Dxun is also known as the Demon Moon, and is the largest of Onderon's moons. Dxun is almost completely covered and by dense jungles populated by many large predators. Due to it's wet, warm climate, dangerous wildlife, and invasive plants, Dxun is one of the harshest habitable environments in the Galaxy. It is even believed there is a Sith tomb and training grounds on Dxun, adding to the danger.

Dxun and Onderon are often considered twin planets because of the miniscule distance between them and the fact that they even share some of the atmosphere. During the Summer, when the planets are closest, it is even possible for adult drexl to fly between the two.

After the Mandalorian Wars, a mandalorian named Canderous Ordo helped aid Revan to overcome Malak and his forces. Upon Revan's disappearance, he took up the role of the new Mandalore and began reuniting the Mandalorians in preparation for Revan's return. He later aided the Exile as well. He now maintains a hidden Mandalorian Base in the depths of the small moon.
