P e r s o n a l i t y:
● Uther is a calm and calculating type, always trying to analyze a situation before running headlong into it. Even while fighting, Uther is able to keep a clear mind and focus on the Force to complete his tasks. He is more of a listener; he doesn’t like to speak much until he knows his words would have value. While swift to take action, Uther is adept at trying to find the best way to end a conflict. Some have even called him “The Warrior’s Diplomat” because of his way of using violence in order to save lives.

● Force Cannon: Uther invented this as a “light-side version of Force Destruction”. Essentially, Uther takes a large amount of Force energy and compacts it into the size of a small ball. Then, he launches it at his opponent. When contact is made, the “Force cannonball” explodes, causing immense damage depending on the amount of energy Uther uses. It is only really effective against non-Force-sensitive opponents, as it could be easily blocked by a Force wielder. This is very draining for him, as he has to put a lot of energy into the attack to use it even once.

Born on the planet Hapes to unknown parents, Uther was given to members of the Hapan Royal family when he was a mere infant. He was kept within the Royal Palace and was raised there until he was around 8, when he was found and chosen for apprenticeship by Master Odin. At the time, Master Odin was a wandering Jedi misplaced by the thinned number of Jedi after the purge, using his skills and lightsaber to secretly help small conflicts around the galaxy. Odin taught Uther many things concerning the Force, as well as many forms of lightsaber combat.
On one mission however, Odin was killed in crossfire while defending his padawan. Uther was eighteen at the time. The planet he was on was in the middle of a civil war, and Uther was forced to pick a side. The planet, Telos V, was completely cut off from the outside world, so there was no way to send a transmission home. Five months later, a team of Jedi was dispatched to Telos V in order to find Uther and his master. By then it was already the war’s end: Uther had led his troops to victory. Battered, bruised, and a deep new scar across his face, Uther reluctantly returned to Coruscant. He made sure that war would not break out again.
Soon after, he met the newly knighted Fey. Fey was extremely young to be a new Knight; twenty-two. She was only a year into Knighthood when one day at the Temple on Coruscant she came across the distraught Uther. The new Jedi Council was considering Uther for Knighthood as he seemed to complete all of his trials on Telos V by fighting in the war. Although, they were afraid that during the war Uther had fell into his anger and to the dark side. Hearing this, Fey volunteered to become Uther’s overseer to ascertain if he was suitable for Knighthood. The Jedi Council at first protested this; they felt a more experienced Knight or even Master would be more suitable for Uther. After much arguing however, the Council relented and allowed Fey to become Uther’s second master.
At first, Uther was quiet and conceited, but after a few months he started to become happy again. When Uther was around twenty and Fey twenty-four, they started to become romantically involved. Falling in love, they stayed together for the longest time. When Uther was knighted at age twenty-two, the two still stayed together, going on various missions and taking on evil in the darkest corners of the galaxy. Four years later, tragedy struck. While on a mission, Uther and Fey were surrounded by enemy troops. Fey was shot numerous times in vital places. In rage, Uther killed the remaining troops and held Fey in his arms as she died. She was two months pregnant. Despite his depression, Uther returned to the Jedi Order for duty.
Since returning, Uther has taken on more and more solo missions, usually clandestine investigations that require his vast skill set. He refuses almost every time to take a partner with him on missions; he doesn't like to open up. The Council has urged him on occasions to take an apprentice, but he avoids the subject. Although Uther has thought about the prospect of teaching and training a young Padawan into Knighthood, he does not exactly feel he is ready. This agitates the Council on some levels, seeing as how he has the potential (and probably the same level of skill) as a Jedi Master, yet does not want the official title.
