Just got a new beadwork kit for an amulet purse. Delica beads, so they are teeny!!! Once I finish it, I'll post a pic!

Where did you get the kit? What does it look like? I've used delica beads too - just be careful not to spill them!

I got it at a bead show. The lady who does them in fantastic!!! Her name is Amy Loh-Kupser, her website is i-bead.com (I know, free advertising for her, but she's that good!). I got the kit for the Dawn to Dusk amulet bag. I've done another of her kits, Fire Drake, and it turned out amazing!

Also got one of her books, Patterns for the Beadfuddled Beader, Volume IV. I want to do the Tiger Eyes amulet, will probably wind up buying her kit for it, rather than buying all the beads on my own (less expensive that way).

How small are delica beads? I've only worked with seed beads myself. Are delica smaller? o.o;

Delica are about half as big as seed beads. They are very even in shape & size (kind of like a tiny tube), so you can do peyote stitch with them and it is a smooth "fabric" like result, rather than seed beads that are rounded & bumpy. I'll try to post a pic of the Fire Drake, so you can see what I mean.
