Well, I guess I'll give it a go... All the real attempts to revive the guild have come to a close, so now I guess I'm the only one left... I'll keep trying! Any help would be appreciated. (If Az or Moro are still around, you guys can totally take over again! This is only a last desperate effort... sweatdrop )

I'm here, but It'll be fairly minimal in what I can do, I'm working a new job + school + girlfriend + rest of life being crazy.
I will put in my two cents to get the ball rolling though. The issue that caused the guild collapse this time around was not necessarily a lack of effort on the active members, but was largely due to incompetent members being put in key positions of power and starting the guild off with an overarching storyline.
I think a much better approach would be to allow people to start off in little clots and clumps and develop some feel for their characters and character relationships, and then once we have a comfortable member base and an idea of who is and isn't reliable we draft a more universal storyline involving the characters that we have and know we can rely on.

Does that make me an incompetent member? Just wondering ^.^

Good to see you're still around though! 3nodding Any suggestions would be much appreciated... Ooh! That gives me an Idea! I think each active Admin here should have a Work Log like mine (In the Crew Subforum). That way we can keep track of what we are all doing? Good Idea?

Does that make me an incompetent member? Just wondering ^.^ Incompetent as a member No... however I do attribute the trailing off of the RP largely to your last stint of RPing on Dantooine. Your RPing was random, poorly thought out, and did not flow at all with the actions of the people who were involved, which led to an immensely confusing and frustrating situation which paralyzed the characters of several players because they were unsure of how to respond to your posts not making sense. So I'm definitely of the mindset that you should not be placed in any position of great importance or power again until which time you can prove to the rest of the guild that you can handle the responsibility of being a key figure. That being said, I hope you do continue to RP here with us. @Kayy I definitely think that would be a good idea

So what you're saying is that I'm not allowed to be any powerful character until I can prove myself, somehow? Great. Just great.
Also, it wasn't poorly thought out at all. The point was to make my character seem less and less inclined to kill, until he really does seem like one big softie, and have him turn himself over to the Jedi, or just exile himself. Soon after making the character, I realized I wouldn't want to rp a Sith, but I wasted so much time on that character, so I'd at least do something with him before he either left the rp altogether or switched factions.

Yes, that's pretty much what I'm saying... the fact that you had a character that was masterful in combat effectively allowed you to paralyze 0thnks, Kilos, myself, and JJmonkey.
In the future, if you realize you dislike a character, have him killed or captured in such a way that it doesn't bring the rest of the guild down with it... or make an OOC headsup of what you're trying to do so it doesn't screw everyone else.
Edit: This is moving off topic, so if you want to continue this conversation we should do it in chat or over PM

Kay to a Guild Member Alright. Don't worry about it. If it comes up, we'll deal with it later. Also, right now I'm going to be very lenient and approve virtually any profile coming through, as Moro hasn't gotten back to me on the last one I sent. I haven't read your entire profile yet but it looked alright at first glance. Just note, Moroseth, JJmonkeychic, or myself can change it if anything comes up. Moro's been pretty busy, So I'm just gonna push 'em (profiles) through and make changes as needed. Moro, when you get a chance, check 'em out in the Active Profiles SubForum. Ooh, and JJ weren't you helping with that in the old Guild? Check 'em out if you could, please? :3 I'll be cleaning up Grammar, spelling, and format for the members.

Just so this is posted somewhere for all to see...
Kay is in charge... unless there is a major problem, or major change to guild structure, do not come to me for the time being.
If we could both be captains we would be. I'm going to be fairly inactive for a little while because my life is crazy busy right now and I don't have that much time to be online.
That being said I would like to put it out there that I am extremely a**l about profiles... it's... sort of my thing. If you jump into the RP with a character that has power issues or could potentially cause issues in the future, I will ask you to edit it before we involve you in any major story arc. This is to keep the RP fair and balanced for everyone.
Right now in the reboot phase it won't be as much of an issue, but be warned that it may occur. Over the next few days I will start looking over profiles and likely asking you to tweak things here and there...
Questions? Concerns? Etc?

Well... I'm back. I guess me leaving sort of served as a catalyst for this little revival... Maybe.
Whatever you need Kay; I've got you covered. Profiles, plot lines, coding, grammar Nazism... I've got it all.
Just put me where you need me, and I'll see to it that there are results.

Well. First order of business is membership. Cleaning out people who don't come back and finding people to join. With some members we can get an RP going, although we don't need an arc right away, maybe some discussion, let people get to know one another, and then form our Guild around the members, to know what they need and what we need.
Any suggestions are certainly welcomed.
Also, does anyone know Mouge? (apparantly a VC...?)
