● Alister prefers to be “dressed for the occasion”, and it is most often combat. Alister wears Jedi Robes similar to those typically worn by Jedi Knights during the Mandalorian Wars. However, Alister has fitted these robes to hold light armors, allowing him to maintain a strong, and acrobatic performance. The armor he developed was integrated into these robes sometime after his knighting, and protects from brushes or small cuts from lightsabers, offering somewhat of a defensive advantage over users of the Ataru and Makashi forms.

P e r s o n a l i t y:
● Alister has an incredible desire to expand his knowledge of things in particular, technology, the history of the galaxy, and ways he may broaden his powers. It is also this strive for knowledge and power that gives him the determination to fight and become better skilled, making him more than proficient warrior. This quest has lead to great frustration in many instances. Its this frustration that has made him more stern, yet has also helped him to develop more aggressive fighting styles which are fueled by this anger. Fortunately, Alister has had few encounters with the dark side because of his short years, and remains lighthearted, and optimistic.

● Alister designed his Curved-Hilt Lightsabers with hand guards about the same time he developed his armored robes. It was meant to be an extension of his armor. The sabers were also weighted, to increase the power of his aggressive attacks.

B i o:
● Alister Targan was born on Corellia to Eida Targan, a human woman from Corellia, and was the son of a male Kiffar known as Iséc Masi. Iséc was traveling with a crew of traders when he met Eida, working as a docking administrator on Corellia. The two quickly fell in love, but their relationship was short lived. Iséc stayed on Corellia with Eida until Alister was born. He then left his family, hoping to find a way to provide them with a higher standard of living.
Communication with Iséc was suddenly lost after several years, and Eida was unsure of whatever happened. Alister remained curious about his father in his childhood, but never fully concerned himself. Alister always had a great interest in the functions of technology and the history of the galaxy. He would often ask the many creatures docking on Corellia about their travels to other planets, and would also observe the technicians of many starships in their work. Many of these people, respectively, gave him a vast collection of knowledge on the functions of starships, the design of weapons, and armors.
At the age of 11, Alister and his mother were visited by Nautolan Jedi Knight, Ja’Mif Zakotzé. Iséc had become close friends with Ja’Mif on one of his adventures to Coruscant, but sadly was killed in the planet’s undercity. He had come to inform them of Iséc’s death, and check on their well being. In the time that Ja’Mif was with the family of his old friend, he sensed a great amount of power from Alister. Ja’Mif deduced that Alister was a force-sensitive with an especially high midi-chlorian count of at least 13,000 per cell. He requested to take Alister to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant for training. Alister saw it as an opportunity to explore the galaxy and learn more of its history, as he so deeply desired. Eida did not like the idea of losing the only family she had left, but figured it would be a much better life for Alister. Eida said farewell to on the day Ja’Mif and Alister left for Coruscant, and although sad to see her son leave, was happy to know of the bright future Alister had ahead of him.
In the first few months, Alister missed his home world and his mother, but later felt a wave of eagerness to learn the ways of the Jedi. Ja’Mif had many great hopes for Alister, believing he would one day become a strong and virtuous Jedi Knight. He even thought that during his teachings, Alister may be able to surface the ability of psychometry, an ability that was amongst some of his father’s people. Ja’Mif, a Jedi Weapons Master, mostly taught Alister in combat arts, however, consuming many days with intense physical training. Whatever free-time Alister had was mostly spent in the Jedi Archives, perusing various subjects, primarily studying the history of the galaxy and the Jedi Order. In the Archives he discovered many great Jedi of the past. The story that became his greatest influence was that of the Prodigal Knight, Revan.
The discovery of this Jedi and his vast amount of power was a source of great encouragement in Alister’s training, hoping he may one day become as powerful as Revan . However, he remained cautious in his quest for power and knowledge, as they were both similar goals that drove Revan to the dark side during the Mandolorian Wars. Alister would continue to strive for power, but figured the best thing to do would be listen to his Master’s instruction and wisdom. At many moments, however, Alister would be overcome with frustration, as he could not attain such powers with so little experience. It was at about age 15 that Alister brought his desires for power to the attention of Ja’Mif, who had very little worry about the risk of Alister falling to the dark side; he could sense that Alister had already figured the wisest route to power was to follow his Master’s teachings. This was only one of many examples of wisdom Alister exemplified. Ja’Mif and Alister then raised their daily practices to a more rigorous level.
The years passed, and Alister became more powerful, more knowledgeable. Soon enough he was ready to face the Jedi Trials. Through his skill, courage, endurance, insight, and dedication to the light side of the Force, Alister easily passed the Trials of Knighthood. It was at the age of 20, that Alister was knighted. Now, a fully fledged Jedi Knight, Alister Targan is ready to take on the galaxy, discover its secrets, quest for power, and have the adventure of a lifetime…
