The first humanoid species to be discovered that was partially animal based, Werewolves were discovered on Earth a little while before the Vampires back in the early years of the early 1400's of life's existence. Once the werewolves came to a realization of the world they did what they could to adapt and survive and found ways to get into high places to help their people, which was a common tactic used by Vampires in the early 1700 to 1800s, once the two species found out about one another there was a natural hatred bred between them, seeing as most Wolves were of Human descent and Vampires were mostly from an unearthly world unknown to them, years later they found ways to live with one another. After the discovery of space travel they decided the best way for them to get along wasn't to thin the numbers but to find places to expand and live peacefully until they met a common enemy known as the Dragons, but that was another feud that ended the same way after about a four thousand years. Later, after the World Wars had just ended, the Entity appeared to ruin their celebration. The Werewolves were the first to come up with the idea to begin to explore the worlds and find ways to end the Entity's massacres.
