Jewelry Making: Laine's family owns a local jewelry shop, and as such, Laine has grown up around these pretty things and wants to learn how to make them. She expressed interest at a young age, asking for things like beads and strings to make her own pieces. As she got a bit older, she started experimenting with other things like macramé. But now that she's a young adult she's working with whatever scraps her family doesn't need or use.

Metal Working: Another thing her family knows is metal working. While she isn't as familiar with this side of her family branch as she is jewelry making, she always found metal working to be fascinating. Pieces could become elegant and graceful, while others could be hard and aggressive. So she is experimenting in this as well. Though for right now, the most she can do is chain mail, which she quite enjoys as she can also use this with her jewelry.

Martial Arts: When not playing with some piece of twisted metal, Laine can sometimes be found skulking about one of the martial arts studios. She's not really sure how she got into this, but she's be doing this for years and she loves it. She feels like it keeps her mind and body sharp. Currently, she's taking MMA classes, but she is curious about other styles and wouldn't mind learning some of those.

Virtues:

Patience Is A Virtue: Laine knows that some patience can go a long, long way. Whether it be trying new things or involving people. Patience is the key to just about everything. Laine is willing to wait, no matter how long or hard the road might be ahead.

Not Gonna Break My Soul: Laine isn't about to let anyone walk all over her and knock her to the ground. She's a fighter and she's just going to get right back up, no matter what. While some might find this reckless and stupid, she believes in standing up for what she thinks is right.

Flaws:

Pecking Order: Laine tends to make her own 'established order', and as such she has her own ranking system of who is important and who isn't. A majority of this is based off what she already knows or has seen, some of it is if she just likes you or not. Aside from some minor sassing and being a pain in the a** the only thing she'd really do to anyone 'lower' on her pecking order is just ignore them and do her own thing as far as orders. Basically if it was someone higher/middle rank if they said jump, she'd ask how high. If it was someone on the lowest rank she'd just go eh. Obviously this would get her in trouble if one of the 'lowers' happened to be a rank higher then her. This could back lash on her horribly if she pegged one of her superiors as a 'lower' rank and didn't listen to what they told her to do.

Tranquil Fury:While Laine can be pretty patient with people, everyone has their limits. When you finally cross that threshold, your in trouble. She'll keep her voice at a normal tone as best she can, never trying to yell. Though, should she be that far over the line, that rule goes out the window. She's not afraid to tell you what she thinks either. She doesn't care if you choose not to listen to her. Jay just want's to get her point across. After that she doesn't give a s**t what you do or if you choose to act on her words. Once she reaches this point, she is done with you for the duration of whatever they are doing. This could last anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days. Though at that given time it's more of a 'gtfo of my face.' People will often get mad at her for when she's not yelling back, especially if they were looking for a screaming match. Once shes done with them, Laine just refuses to work with them again. even if they are paired up. It's an easy way for her to make enemies with in the 'work force'.
