After the encounter with the first snake, it seemed that it didn't take long before more creatures were popping out of the woodwork. This time, he didn't even see it coming. He felt something slithering into his boot, but couldn't quite get a view - and seconds later yelped at the bite at the back of his ********, ow! "There's a snake in my boot!" the cowboy shouted as he prepared for battle, ready to deal some heavier damage. McCowboy was bit again, but focused on defending himself and healing for this turn. Luckily he had a march hare on his side. Frustrated, McCowboy stomped his boot down on the snake's head as hard as he could. That should end things...but now his boots were all nasty. With the snake dead, McCowboy found himself presented with a new familiar. He did not want to know where that familiar came from, especially if it came from the guts of the snake that he just killed.
