Poultrygeist (10) : As Destiny City is a bustling metropolis, it’s not unexpected that there should be some strange animals running the streets. Sometimes it’s a tiger, sometimes a monkey, sometimes a chicken. Sometimes it’s something worse. Strange egg clusters have appeared in Destiny City’s parks and officials aren’t really sure what they are; these eggs have nothing inside of them. Though it’s an anomaly, they are chalking it up to teenaged pranks. However, they have advised to just leave the eggs as they are. Nobody wants to say why, but if you’re out late at night, you’ll find out. In the darkness, whispered between the sounds of the city: a guttural, rasping cluck. The creature stands on stilt-like legs, rooted to the ground with razor-sharp talons. It wears a cloak of long, oily feathers that drag on the ground with a sinister scraping. If you stare into the darkness, piercing red eyes stare back at you. That’s all it takes for a confrontation: a mangled bird, maybe a chicken in another life, comes barreling out at you. It stands easily as tall as a person, but the proportions are all wrong. The smell of sulfur follows it as it lunges, pecking and screaming and scratching as it attempts to chase you away. Maybe, from the nests full of empty eggs. The battles are fierce, but fleeting; it will viciously try to chase you away but the effects are always the same: at some point, the eggs are crushed. As always, there’s nothing inside of them, but with one final wail, the bird will vanish into a plume of foul smoke.
Note: If you choose to encounter one of these bird-like creatures, your character will recognize they are not youma. It is impossible to tell if it is a single entity or if there are many. The bird does not seem to understand or care to listen to human words. It will always disappear in a malodorous plume of smoke and leave nothing but a foul odor and a clutch of empty, broken eggs behind. This RP can be used as a battle requirement as long as there are two powered characters involved; you must be interacting with another player’s powered character. This does not count as the one youma battle per stage for growth. This can only be used as a battle requirement once per character, but there is no limitation for how many times a player can use this prompt.
Totoro had in passing heard about the chickens of star fest from last year. He remembered the news talking about it and he'd been lucky enough to avoid any sort of issues with this crazy thing.
However, as he walked he suddenly froze as he heard a crunch. . . . clad in his raccoon fuku his face frowned heavily. That crunch and the smell after was very unpleasant and not want he wanted to run into this early in the night. "UGH"
He muttered and looked down, sure enough . . . . it was an egg. And with that he heard a very angry BOAWKKKKKKKK noise. "OH Fudgey muffinnnsssss" He said as he tried to run before the chicken could attack him. He was wishing he'd thought to bring a friend at this point.

Ah. That time of year again.
Solaris certainly remembered the strange, giant chicken with the equally strange, giant eggs. It didn't give off the Chaotic aura of a youma or Negaverse agent or traitor senshi--so on and so forth. The only thing that had drawn her attention to the spot was picking up the presence of another Order energy signature, and as she approached, hearing that screeching poultry wail.
She picked up the pace immediately, sighing somewhat as the full recollection hit when she spotted the creature-- uh. And. A kid. A kid in a raccoon costume. Solaris frowned a bit, connecting that the Order signature was coming from here but...
...s**t.
Her unease was smothered by duty, at least, lifting a hand and focusing her magic enough for a golden orb to condense and shoot out at the hostile bird. Upon impact, it exploded, causing the creature to shriek again but at least pause in its pursuit for a moment.
"You okay?" She hoped it was clear she wasn't speaking to the bird.
Totoro tried to dodge the angry chicken ghost as he didn't really want to deal with the thing and another order signature was coming up. He was a bit relieved as he tried to dodge the spurs from the chicken.
"Y-yeah for now!" He answered when he heard the question and groaned when he stepped on more eggs. "I don't know that I can say for how long I'll be good though!"
He was hoping she was going to help him, "Got any useful magic??? I can make the thing more sensitive but then I'd have to punch it and .... that's kind of questionable at this point." The kid added.

A brown brow quirked upwards. "You mean besides the magic that just exploded on the thing?" There was amusement in her voice, at least, even as she gave a slight shrug before bolting past the kid right towards the giant creepy chicken.
Solaris turned abruptly, jumping and twisting herself till her boot met the creature's face with a satisfying crack and resounding broken bawk from the thing. It wobbled and swayed, stunned for a moment. Gave her plenty of time to then follow it up with a fist to the same spot, wondering briefly if she'd at least broken some of the chicken's hollow bones along its head as it dropped heavily to the ground. Already, she was backing up, though. Prior experience said it wouldn't be staying down long. Plus--she wasn't overly fond of the sulfur smell radiating off of it and it's rotten eggs.
"Just keep destroying the eggs! It'll vanish once they're gone."
Totoro paused as she mentioned besides the magic that just exploded on the thing. She had him there -- it was probably a dumb question because her magic was probably more useful than his.
The chibi watched as she just threw kick and punch at the thing and it just kind of flumped over. He nodded when she said that if he destroyed the eggs the thing would vanish once they were gone.
The raccoon clad boy did just that working on destroying the eggs but he paused for a second, long enough to call out his attack. "Dousing Touch!" He actually hoped the attack would hit the chicken and not backfire on him or the senshi helping him out.
He kicked one of the eggs towards the chicken itself, listening to it give an angry Bowak in protest to it's eggs being destroyed. "OH, I'm Totoro~!" He added looking over at Solaris.
tabSuper Sailor Scout Attack: Dousing Touch When Sailor Totoro calls this attack he can choose two targets. This target becomes sensitive to being touched. This attack causes them to be 50% as sensitive. So if they're given a normal punch, that might would cause them to say 'ow' this would hurt 50% as much than it normally would. This attack increases the sensitivity to magic that touches the target's skin - however, it doesn't increase the damage. There's also a small chance this attack could backfire on Tortoro and not work, or hit someone other than his intended target (including teammates).
Totoro can use this attack 2 times and the effect lasts for 25 seconds.

Sure enough, the chicken began to rise once again, furious as ever, and Solaris braced herself for the expected rampage as it tried to go after the kid stomping its eggs. Once again, she slammed her fist to its face, ducking down to sweep its legs out from under it and springing herself backwards to try and avoid the flail of talons and wings and beak.
Then she got hit by magic. Not that she knew that at first--just a weird sensation, and then the chicken flailed about all the more, and smacked her with its large wing. Sure, she expected that to hurt, but this hurt. Solaris didn't even get a chance to yelp as she was sent tumbling backwards, skidding somewhat along the ground and thankfully able to twist her body enough to slide along her side and not her back. "Oh what the..." The following expletives she made were all in Solarian, at least aware of the kid's presence and not being sure of this area's culture on certain language around people under certain ages.
"Name's Solaris," she finally called back, aware belatedly the chibi senshi had introduced himself. Her abdomen where the wing had caught her throbbed like hell, and she was all the more ticked off as she lifted her hand again to fire off another energy orb at the chicken. This time, a larger explosion was set off, and she took grim satisfaction in that...
And then spotted a nearby egg and smashed that with her fist before pulling herself to her feet.
Totoro watched and frowned a little bit, he thought his magic backfired and had hit Solaris and that wasn't his target. There was a large sigh, he hated the fact his magic half the time didn't work like he wanted it to.
He felt like it was further confirmed he'd accidently hit her because while he didn't know what she was saying, he figured it probably wasn't nice. The senshi of raccoons continued to kick the eggs and smash them.
There was one left and he paused for a second, "I think this might be the last one!" He called as he picked it up. He decided maybe throwing it at the chicken's head would work well. "Watch out, I'm going to throw it at the chicken~!" He said giving the older senshi a heads up.

She wasn't sure why the chicken was hitting harder, but she got the heck out of the way when it tried to run and peck at her. It squawked and screamed up a storm, frantic as more of its eggs were destroyed.
And then the kid had the last one. Solaris grinned, backing up a distance from the creature. She did use another blast of her Basic magic to stun the thing again and keep it in place. "It'll be still for a sec, go go!"
Totoro cringed a bit when it seemed like his attack might've hit Solaris and was a bit like oops.
When she backed up and hit the chicken with another attack and said the creature would be still he nodded and threw the egg as hard as he could at the chicken's head. Managing to hit more so in the back than the head but the chicken seemed woeful when the egg hit and suddenly "BAWOACK!" It disappeared in a stinky cloud Totoro tried to cover his nose wrinkling up his face as he moved closer to the older senshi.
"Sorry I think my attack backfired on you." He said after he got his breath back from the stinky air.
