It started with a letter, which arrived in a shimmering, purple envelope, and was sealed with wax that sparkled like it was made of crystals.

Inside, on a sheet of crisp white paper, faintly floral fragranced, was a handwritten message:

Quote:
Dear Friend,

In preparation for several new and fantastic exhibits, you are cordially invited to a complimentary tour of my recently renovated museum. If you have visited before, prepare to be pleasantly surprised by five spectacular new installations. If you have not visited before, prepare for that, and more. I extend this invitation as a courtesy, and testament, to our unyielding bond.

In anticipation of a large group, please be advised that the museum has provided a code of conduct by which is expected to be closely followed. Those in violation of this code will be promptly removed so please familiarize yourself with the following.

  1. Violence is not permitted in the museum. If you’d like to roughhouse, please do so before or after the tour, and not in my presence. My security system is rather sensitive and is far less indulgent than myself.

  2. Theft is not permitted in the museum. While I may be willing to part with my collection under the right circumstances, these displays were carefully curated and conservation of said items is of the utmost importance. It will benefit no one if they are broken while smuggled out.

  3. You may bring me treats, but do not eat near the exhibits. I am not emotionally prepared to deal with any infestation.

  4. The giftshop will be open. I am always interested in a good trade.

If these terms are acceptable, please sign your name below to secure your reservation.

Transportation to and from will be provided on the evening of Saturday, July 11th, at 8PM sharp.

The letters might have been sent out all at once, but they arrived in waves–each reaching their intended target when they first powered up towards the end of June and early July. They arrived in a puff of smoke and stars and hovered eagerly before the recipient.

Each recipient had two weeks to RSVP. Upon signing their name, a countdown timer appeared on the page in liquid silver ink.

And then, at exactly 8PM on Saturday, July 11th, they were whisked away.

It was less like teleporting and more like being flung through space. Anyone with the stomach to handle it might have seen glimpses of stars and planets and clouds, and a pretty–broken–rainbow road as they flew by.

The trip was brief, no more than a minute, and they always arrived as they were before departure. Perhaps a bit colder, maybe feeling briefly off balance–but unharmed.

Magic hummed in the air, though its source was unplaceable.

They arrived by an ornate, wooden antique welcome desk, currently unmanned but meticulously cleaned and organized. Laying over the marble floor, a Persian-style rug, easily twenty feet in length, guided them forward. It, like the other decorations, was ornate–purple, silver, and obviously expensive–from the dark curtains, to the plush chairs. There hadn’t appeared to be an exit door behind them. Beyond the foyer stretched a grand hall that opened into an even more impressive atrium.

But everything about the museum was obviously designed with cohesiveness in mind.

And, Almadel obviously had favorite colors.

He waited for the group to arrive, wearing a more formal outfit than his usual adventures in Destiny City would allow, and his tail danced pleasantly behind him.

“Welcome!” he greeted warmly. “Oh, look how many of you have come. How wonderful. Good, good. I’m so happy to have you here under good circumstances. I thought to myself, Destiny City is so lovely, but the weather’s been abysmal this time of year. So I thought, you should come visit me. I promised you all a good trip, and I’ve cleared my schedule to accommodate such a large party. Now, as you’ve all agreed to the rules, I need to stress that hostilities will not be tolerated. I’ve seen you all come together before. Let’s play nice. Any violation of the rules will result in immediate expulsion. It’s no hard feelings, of course. So, come in, come in.”

A great chandelier hung above them, illuminating the impressive and expansive view.

Though only in one great room of the museum, it visually captured the style of Beaux-Arts architecture with extensive efforts. The museum looked like he might have just plucked some elaborate building right from Earth and carried it to space himself if not for the collection inside. The architecture and layout seemed timeless, with endless classical details; there were plentiful columns and pilasters.

While there were an array of arched windows, some had heavy curtains drawn, but the highest row of them allowed a breathtaking view of the endless space–stars, and galaxies, were visible in all directions.

This room had an immense stairway leading to an upper floor, and balconies to oversee the collection below. Several wings were visibly open, and already lit up.

Behind Almadel, a signboard presented a handdrawn map of the museum, written in an indecipherable language.

“We’ll have plenty of time to catch up. Stay as long as you like–that is, tonight, not forever–and I’ll make sure you get home safely. So you must tell me–how is Earth? Have I missed anything exciting?”

Characters can join this RP at this point in time; this is the introduction to several self-guided RP prompts! These paths will open up within 72 hours, so please take this opportunity to arrive, mingle or interact with Almadel. This ORP is incredibly easy-going and will have no major plot points, but meta topics may come up.

The next plot relevant mule-post will be posted Wednesday at ~7PM EST, where other avenues of RP will open up. At that point in time, players can continue to RP in this ORP as well as roleplay splitting off into smaller groups and exploring as they please. ICly the ORP takes place on July 11th, but OOCly this ORP will officially close on July 12th, but more details will be posted on Wednesday. If you are interacting with Almadel or the area in any capacity, please quote The Space Cauldron! This ORP will not be a battle, but there will be a battle opportunity prompt.

All powered characters can attend, whether or no they have previously met Almadel.

Please include your character’s name, rank, and a link to their journal at the top of your post. Please do not reserve posts, and make sure all posts must have at least 2 sentences. Do not edit your posts to include more dialogue or actions without first clearing it with your RP partners; editing your post after players have posted after you can make RP confusing and may force others to edit their posts for consistency, so please avoid this unless your RP partners sign off first.

Almadel will still be doing trades this year; this information will also be available on Wednesday, but please feel free to brainstorm items you might be interested in trading in the meantime! There will be many similarities to how this operated in previous years.

(There may be some delays due to RL issues, but we’ll do our best to keep things moving and get back to everyone ASAP!)

Lieutenant Dzhalindite

Lieutenant Dzhalindite had decided to go on the tour; she read the rules and agreed she wouldn't get into any fights with other factions. After all, she didn't have much power to speak of anyway. She rolled her eyes it was so annoying. She couldn't teleport on her own yet, and she didn't have a real weapon yet, just a little Christmas tree. She had been thinking of things lately. She wanted power, and she liked the benefits of the negaverse, but she also wondered what it was like on the order side. Would she be happier if she were an order member?

She kept getting to this point in her head and then shaking herself out of the idea. She would be a traitor if she switched sides. She would have to trade her whole world for something new if she switched sides. Would it be worth it? She wondered if this magical merchant had the answers. She had heard he was all mysterious and knew so many things. Maybe he knew what she should do with her life. She laughed to herself as she powered up and was pulled through space to the musume. She wondered if any of the senshi who hated her would come to the tour.

Transcended Eternal Sailor Tempesti

A wooden box containing an assortment of herbal teas in small glass jars waited securely in Sailor Tempesti’s subspace, along with a meticulously assembled array of colorful pastel macarons nestled in the careful packaging of one of her favorite bakeries. Of course, the senshi had no intention of attempting to bargain with snacks alone, as the ancient trinkets she carried could attest.

The prospect of visiting Almadel’s home, or at least the place where he kept his collections, had been more than enough to excite her. Her brief meeting with the strange man and the array of suspiciously sourced artifacts he carried piqued her curiosity and left her with more questions than she could reasonably expect him to answer. Though emphasis on guests restraining themselves from violence raised some concerns about the company they would be keeping, Tempesti had awaited the summons with eager anticipation.

As Tempesti’s boots made contact with the museum’s floor, she looked around in awe until her gaze landed on their alien host.

“Hello! It’s good to see you again.”

The senshi called forth the boxes from her subspace, holding them out for Almadel’s inspection. “You said that we could bring treats, so I thought I’d get something from this nice bakery in the city.”

Tempesti did her best to ignore the Chaos energy emitted by the unfamiliar agent. While she had no intention of breaking the truce that came with the invitation, she could only hope that any Chaos-aligned invitees (and her friend from deep space) would do the same.

Super Sailor Bacchus

Bacchus had mixed feelings about signing off on the stranger’s invitation, particularly upon the sight of the proscription on violence. He wasn’t one to break hospitality by starting unauthorized brawls in someone else’s space, but that didn’t mean that he was going to be happy to see any of the Chaos ******** who might have found their names on the list of invitees. After what passed for careful consideration by his own dubious standards, the senshi decided that seeing what Almadel had on view outweighed his own misgivings about the other potential guests.

A covered dish of clear glass piled with small, spicy-sweet pastries materialized in his hands as he approached the unfamiliar man with an uncharacteristically respectful bow before moving to hand off the vessel.

“Good to meet you. Sailor Bacchus, senshi of revelry, at your service.” Though the senshi struggled to remember the particulars of the old dance, he still felt compelled to perform what steps he could. “Thank you for your invitation.”

The objects he’d brought to exchange at the other alien’s market remained within his subspace, it wouldn’t do to attempt any trade before they’d followed whatever measures commerce demanded in this space.

Bacchus felt the old urge toward a guest’s decorum slip at the unwelcome sight of a familiar Negaverse agent. The nature of their previous encounter hadn’t allowed him an opportunity to learn the woman’s name, but that didn’t stop the disdain from curling his lip as he wondered what exactly their host intended by inviting members from each side.

Thebe Senshi of Unau

Thebe had almost not come; she really didn't like going out and doing stuff, but hey, maybe the shop had a magic pillow or something that would catch her eye to trade. So she was out and accepted being pulled through space to the mesume. She wondered who would be going on this tour. She yawned deeply, not because she was bored but because she was pretty much always a little sleepy it was just how she was, and she figured her world was also a sleepy, deep jungle place. It had been lost to her but perhaps it would be time soon to find her home world and try to repair it.

That would be a lot of work, but everyone deserved a quiet place to rest, and that was what her home world was. It was sad that things had gone the way they had. She needed to fix that. She wasn't alone; everyone had troubles in their worlds. It was a common story, actually. Thebe looked around to see if there was anyone there that she knew. She already knew the rules of the tour: no fighting period. She was pleased. Fighting was such a waste of energy.

Hokusai Page of Mercery

Hokusai had not been doing much lately, nor had she been going out lately. She had been a bit of a shut-in for a while. She had gotten the letter about the tour and had become curious to see what it was about and what would happen on this tour. She wasn't familiar with the host, but she had heard rumors about them, and she was curious about the trades that could be made and the trades she might make. Her head was in a spin. She often got like this when there were things she didn't know. Much like when she was still a civilian and she had been messing with the pods.

Which had not been a very good idea since that was dangerous. The goo from those pods was terrible. She shook her head trying to focus on the moment and what was in front of her. She allowed herself to be pulled through space to the tour's location. She looked on in wonder she had never been to a place like this before. It was amazing like nothing she had seen before. Hokusai hadn't done much space travel as of yet. She was excited to see more.

Rabbit Page of the Moon

Rabbit was always the curious sort, and when the letter arrived, she was ready to go right away. She let herself move through space, like jumping down a rabbit hole. She looked about when she got there. She knew nothing of the merchant other than the things she had heard and the rules she had read. No fighting, no problem for her. She wanted to look around and learn everything she could. She was eager to see and hear everything she could. Part of her being was being curious. She looked at the building and at the others gathered to attend this event as well.

Rabbit raised her arms above her head, stretching after the journey. She was a moon knight. She had her tea house, which was her pride and joy and her responsibility. She sighed out a breath. This was a lot, but it was so exciting. She looked around and then sat down to calm herself down. She was a little out of sorts. Too overwhelmed by the state of things to not need a moment to compose herself. She smiled and flung her hood back as she tried to gather her thoughts. She thought of trinkets she could trade.

Alpena-Amberley, Page of Cybele

When he had received the invitation, Marks immediately went to his oldest brother and found that he too had received one. Being a museum tech himself, Marks was excited, but cautious. When Dom told him more of this Almadel and his own past ventures with the guy, he felt more comfortable about going, and replied his RSVP. It looked like he would be going alone, however. Not surprising - his brother and sister-in-law had other priorities at the moment!

So that was the preamble to what what brought a very excited Alpena-Amberley page here now. He was told to expect a few from every faction there, and to be on guard, but that he should be safe...enough. AA looked around at every gathered so far, and was indeed met with a great variety of...beings. He had been more focused on exploring his wonder when he could than on making enemies...or friends. It would be nice if he could make a few allies that evening....

He was also taking in the other sights around him. Again, the museum tech in him bubbled with excitement.

Captain Brassite
action: arriving with a ten foot penguin youma

Arriving in style with a hot (well, honestly pretty chill) date on her arm, Brassite surveyed the museum with a critical eye. "Almondine's really cleaned this place up since last time I was here. There were all sorts of like, giant bugs n'stuff. And then a bog the size of a bus. And then a big broken hole that was sucking everybody off into space right up until it wasn't," she informed the towering penguin.

Originally, she'd gone into the Rift to bring out Tony Tippytoes, as like, enrichment or something for her usual coworker. And she'd even found him! But like, that guy didn't want to budge an inch. Especially when she explained how he wouldn't get to drain anybody. That Tony, he was a great pal, just as long as you didn't expect too much out of him. The big dog-like youma couldn't even bother stepping over low bars, let alone meeting high ones.

But you know who was great at meeting highbars? A ******** giant penguin. She didn't know when the guy had joined the Negaverse, but he was clearly standing head and shoulders...and tummy, above most of the other schmucks wandering the dark kingdom. Brassite was so curious! Like what was his energy collecting style? Was it super uncomfortable in summer? Were there hugs?

Well, whatever! She was pretty sure he'd fit through Allmetal's doorways. They had seemed pretty big the last time! Just in case the youma couldn't read, though, she explained the rules, "Now you can't fight okay? But that means other people can't bother you, either! They gotta mind their own damn noses. And you can't steal anything, sorry. Don't penguins like shiny rocks or something? Or is that like, speciesist? Anyway, keep your flippers to yourself, or limited to high fives." She didn't mention the sack of stuff he was carrying. Brassite wasn't a narc and could absolutely be trusted to to have a damn thing.

Number three....

"Well if you have food on you, you can't eat them next to his stuff. He doesn't want food on his stuff, but you can stuff him with food, I guess? s**t, sould I have brought cobbler?" She'd been too busy doing her hair up fancy to think about it much, honestly. But, like! Who brought food to a museum manager? But he was a fancy magical guy. Maybe that was just fancy magical guy etiquette. Or he was just a dude with the munchies.

"And he's got a gift shop? If you want to trade for things? Like if you actually do want a shiny rock?" He probably had something tradable in that sack he was carrying. Craning her head up, Brassite tried to make some meaningful eye contact with the big fella.

Lieutenant Carmeltazite

Carmeltazite didn’t know who or what an Almadel was, but she had never been one to ignore fancy invitations that poofed into existence in front of her face. That was, perhaps, a character failing on her part, but did it really matter? This was an invitation to go to some museum out in space. She’d signed her name after, perhaps, a whole two seconds of thought. After that, it had been a lot of continuous checking of the little silver ink countdown (seriously, that was so cool, how had it been done, she needed to know).

When the time came, she wasn’t sure what to expect. Would something like a space limo be sent? Was it like teleporting? Like a Beam Me Up Scotty sitch? She was simply dying to know. And dying to see what this Almadel looked like. If they were in space, surely they’d look very alien? Would they be cute? Soon, she only had enough brain for thoughts of ‘I am going to be so ******** sick, oh my god why’. It wasn’t at all like the teleporting she knew. And the moment that she saw stars and space clouds whizzing by, she’d squeezed her eyes closed to ward off the desire to puke her guts inside out.

When her feet touched down and she was certain that she’d actually stopped moving, she opened her eyes and found herself dazzled. And not just because the tall alien guy, whom she decided had to be Almadel, was ******** hot.

—----------------------

Saiph, Eternal Senshi of the Primordial

The first thing that Saiph had thought upon receiving the invitation was that she finally had an ironclad way of returning Almadel’s handkerchief that he’d let her borrow last year. She’d washed it carefully and kept it safe in her subspace on the chance she’d see him again. And when he wasn’t up on the hill this year, she’d worried.

But then the invitation had come and after reading it, she’d talked to Cuan and then signed it the next morning. As her Guardian Kitten had so rightly pointed out, opportunities like this were not common occurrences. She could learn and see a lot. And maybe even get a glimpse of those books that Almadel had told her about. Returning his property to him was simply the icing. And… she might actually be able to repay him for his kindness last year. Sure, she’d traded with him and that had been nice. But that had been business of a sort. It was his words and actions when she’d been a sobbing wreck that she wanted to thank him for. Because he could have chased her from the tent or kept them purely transactional. And he’d chosen kindness. She wouldn’t forget that.

And she had so much to tell him now too. Her world wasn’t dead-dead anymore and she’d even seen critters running around. And flowers blooming. She’d been so delighted by these developments that she’d decided to bring Almadel a gift separate from her potential trade.
The gift was resting in a cloth covered basket made of woven reeds and leaves and Saiph could only hope that Almadel would like it. And, as she zoomed through space (her attention being caught by what looked like a broken bridge made of rainbows), she found herself hoping that she wouldn’t lose the basket or its contents.

The moment her feet were once again on firm ground, her legs wobbled enough that she had to kneel and breathe deeply for a couple of minutes. Once she felt steady, she got up and clutched the basket close to her chest, making soft hushing noises as small, worried cheeps emerged. Taking one last deep breath, she glanced around and, spotting Almadel, smiled. Hurrying over to him, she waited for a moment to catch his attention before reaching into subspace to first withdraw the handkerchief and hand it to him. “I never got a chance to give this back before you left last year. I promise I took very good care of it.” Then, she paused and looked uncertain for a moment before passing the now softly chirruping basket to the Merchant. “And this is just to say thank you. For everything. I hope you like it.”

—----------------------

Nis, Knight of Cosmos

To say that Nis had RSVP’d immediately upon reading her invitation would have been putting it mildly. She’d barely gotten past the ‘cordially invited’ before her eyes zipped to the end of the letter and she’d whipped out a pen to sign. Only then did she take the time to actually read what she’d just gotten herself into. And a faint, affectionate chuckle echoed through her wonder. “So dramatic, my friend,” she murmured. “And a giftshop! My, we are ambitious.”

There was no malice in her musing, only a great deal of amusement. And this invitation explained why she hadn’t seen him on his usual hill once the Star Festival had begun. But now she had an explanation which did not evoke alarm and she settled in to wait for the appointed time.

When it came, she had made sure she was at her Wonder. There was no point in risking any magical surges near her house. And besides, going there first had allowed her to prepare a little gift-slash-bribe for the Merchant. When the time came, she felt herself whisked through space. Gritting her teeth against any hint of nausea, she kept her eyes open and wondered at everything she saw. The broken rainbow road, in particular, grabbed her attention, though it was soon left in the distance as her feet touched down on a beautiful rug. Looking around, she nodded in satisfaction. This place had definitely been improved since the last time she was here. Seeing Almadel, she edged her way through the milling people and as she got closer, held up a small, pretty cloth bag tied with a purple and gold ribbon and emitting a wonderful vanilla-y fragrance.

“You did say we could bring you treats. So I brought you treats. I also,” she held up a second, small parcel and grinned, “brought something to see if I could tempt you out of anything shiny. But you can’t see it yet.”

—----------------------

Iapetus, Super Senshi of Ruthlessness

An invitation to space? From the very nice alien who’d given her the very nice and pointy magic arrowheads? Sign her the ******** up! Iapetus hadn’t hesitated to RSVP because who knew when she’d ever get such an opportunity again? Besides, she wanted to see if the stuffed she’d traded him last year was somewhere out on display in his museum. The thought tickled her and she’d used it as a means of not getting too impatient as she waited for go time.

When it came, Iapetus wasn’t sure what to expect. She had memories of how it had felt getting to the Hallow’s prison. Would this be like that? Better? Worse?

In the end, it was neither, only a little different and extremely interesting. Not to mention humbling. And Iapetus had never really enjoyed being humbled. But this… this was different. Everything moved so fast, but she saw planets and stars and a weird broken rainbow (seriously, who the hell did one break a rainbow?!?) and it was all just extraordinarily pretty. When she touched down, she admired the marble floor and the rug protecting it. She wasn’t thrilled to see people that reeked of Chaos, but she knew and had agreed to Almadel’s rules. She’d behave and limit her disdain to cutting looks. She was in a giant space museum. She could play nice for a few hours.

Making her way towards their host, she grinned and waved, calling out, “Hi Almadel! Nice place you got here! Thanks for the invite!”

She hadn’t missed how the invite had mentioned a gift shop and she’d come prepared with some pretty little coins that she’d found digging around on her homeworld.

—----------------------

Chariklo, Transcendent Eternal Senshi of Seagulls

Whistling softly to herself, Chariklo admired her surroundings. The last time she’d seen this place it had been a mess of a weird space bug infestation. But now… Holy s**t, now it was grander than anything she could have imagined. And she was glad that she’d decided to sign the RSVP when she’d received Almadel’s letter. The journey up had been about the same and she’d enjoyed watching everything around her as she travelled.

It was too bad that she couldn’t have brought the twins, she thought wistfully. They would have been utterly charmed by how big and bright and grand this place was. But she’d managed to keep them out of the magical bullshit for this long and she’d continue for as long as she possibly could. Besides, she saw officers milling about and she’d be ******** if she was putting her babies into the crossfire by letting those dickwads see them! Giving herself a shake, she reminded herself that this was neutral ground. No fighting allowed. At least amongst themselves. Therefore, she would be polite and careful. And, speaking of polite, it was only manners to say hi to the host, right?

Heading towards Almadel, she thought of the little trinkets she’d put together from her world that were stored carefully within subspace. She’d yet to talk one on one with the dude of the hour, though she’d heard for years now about his penchant for trading. So, she’d come prepared to do just that if the opportunity arose. As she got nearer, she bowed her head gracefully before grinning widely and giving the Merchant a thumbs up before waving cheerfully. He already had people around him, she could wait her turn.

”The Space Cauldron”
Nis is talking to him, Carmeltazite is staring intently (and possibly unnervingly) and the others are varying greetings ♥

Super Hybris of Reflection
action: arriving with Faustite, delivering a real "treat" to the host

"Oh, how wonderful," Hybris murmured as they appeared in the middle of the museum. "Such a very timeless style." Suiting for one who, apparently, time had little impact; save perhaps in the form of increasing rarities. Hand curled around his fiance's, he looked around at the decor with a practiced eye.

"I wonder if there's knickknacks from my past life here, he keeps those sorts of things, you know? Wouldn't it be sweet if say, my finger bones or skull were to be found in a little case under nice lighting?" Of course, even without any wonderful pieces of his past life sitting about, Hybris intended to leave some of this one.

Approaching Almadel, Hybris's voice was mild and friendly, "Thank you so much for allowing us to see your collection. Who did your decorating?" There was a brief, slightly nervous and entirely dramatic look toward a Senshi of Revelry who was mid sneer. While it was against the night's rules to attack others, Hybris needed to put on a little display of fear, just to make it clear that he'd definitely been bullied by the senshi at some point.

Bravely getting closer, he handed a mid-sized and ornately framed painting to Almadel, "You mentioned accepting treats, so I brought you my favorite one." The painting was, of course, of himself. Mostly dark and in chiaroscuro style, the Hybris in the painting was like a pale flame, with only hints of violet so frame the rest of the figure. It was needlessly moody and dramatic, much like every other painting of every Hybris in any given lifetime.

Super Sailor Duibhe Senshi of Sahasrara

There was no way in hell Sailor Dubhe wasmissing seeing Alkmadel this year. Absoluitely not.She RSVPed in about five minutes and spoent two weeks trying to decide if she should wear something pretty for an accessory while Susanoo called her a "Simpo"on video chat and then teased her crush on the merchant ruthlessly. WITH Oumuamua and Gagarin at times. It wasn't malicious, but.

Sailor Dubhe arrived carrying a xziplock of some home-made sweets for Almadel she m,ade herself - chocolates - abd she had a ziplock of seeds froim her homeworld. Not trade -- ggifts.

Because she cared [strijke]And absoluitely still thought he was attracfdtive.

And now the senshi was in the entry, looking around at everyone, searching for Almadel worrying she'd look stupid -- no,m she knew she looked stupid - and slowly she began to look around qauietly. Aside Subra and Andreiya, she hadn't seen many powered people in....

So long, and few knewher, soshe was shy as her eyes flicked about, but not unapproachable, merely seeking Almadel and soaking in atmiosphere.

Super Sailor Limosa Senshi of Octopuses

Limoisahad not accepted right away. She took a fewdays and arranging things, including working out if bringing a tiny sibling to an alien was wise and deciding... Probably noit. Almadel might not be emotionally prepared to survive the barrage of quyestions Eos could and would ask and if he realized Almadel was alien?

Gods.Poor man. So Linmosaarrived alone. No treats = aside a rubberey, colorful little machine in her hand that klooked positively delicate. Limosahad an octopus assistant for the merchant, really jhust wanting to help himwith his things, and slowly she stored it inher pocket dimension ybruk afgwciuukd neet him again, and peered at the group gathering. Limosasmoothed the swimsuit fabric that was her fuku, and folded her hands, watching everyone curiously. Not anxious, curious, maybe even hoping to see someone she knew.

It was possible now! She might see C lara, or Soleiyu, or maybe even someone else! She smiled at everyone though, far less lost than the blonde senshi she saw roaming looking for.... Who, Almadel? Limosa noted Dubhe just looked lost and resumed smiling at everyone kindly, looking about.

BERTRAM

Visitors to the Rift were always a source of great excitement for BERTRAM and the penguin youma had happily emerged from his burrow to greet the unfamiliar agent. That she came bearing tidings of adventure was more than enough to entice him to follow her, and even enough to keep most of his attention as his new friend listed the rules the expedition required. It would be difficult not to indulge his desire to play with whatever they might find, but fighting was something he could save for another day unless some evildoer forced his flipper.

At the mention of food, he hurried back into his burrow, making an addition to his bag of treasure before returning to Brassite, returning her look with something that resembled understanding.

Though being snatched up was a disconcerting sensation for BERTRAM, upon arrival at their destination, he unceremoniously dropped the sack onto the purple rug, beak clacking softly as he gazed awestruck at the splendor that surrounded him. Even the itchy presence of those others wasn’t enough to detract from the wonder blooming in his feathery heart. Face craned upward, the gleam of what appeared to be thousands of stars suspended from the ceiling dazzled the penguin before he lowered his gaze to the purple man who welcomed them and hauled his bounty forward. Tilting his head to get a better look at the stranger, BERTRAM leaned forward, putting his face closer to Almadel’s. Satisfied that this was their host and seeing that others were sharing their food with him the youma rummaged around briefly, eventually producing a hefty and surprisingly fresh tuna, which he held out for the stranger’s inspection.

The Space Cauldron
The tuna is maybe 2.5-3 feet long and a great treat as far as he is concerned.

Tortuga, Squire of Jupiter

Honestly, when the invite showed up he was skeptical at first then after asking around he realized it likely wasn't a trap or anything. But he still hesitated since he didn't really have anything to trade. There wasn't anything he really wanted either but lately he had been thinking about it more and more, waffling depending on the day. So eventually on a bit of a whim he RSVPed that he was going, taking the option out of his hands figuring that at best he could talk to others there and at worst he would be just standing there like a statue. Either way it was something interesting.

When the time got close, Tortuga prepared, he had his little 'offering' not expecting it to be accepted. "Navi, be good while I'm gone ok?" He held a hand out so the little mote of light could nestle there for a moment, before it took off to swirl around him.

Before he could do anything else, he was yanked through space. It was nothing like transferring to his wonder, and it absolutely took him longer then he would have preferred to get his stomach under control by the time he arrived. So he stood there, taking it all in, but not daring to move just yet, only to gasp of surprise when a little dart of light flashed past him to zoom off into a random direction. "Navi," He hissed quietly, "Get back here." He had no idea the light creature would follow him, or even that it could. Let alone how he would keep the curious little bugger from getting lost.

((Open for interaction! If you want the little light mote to interact with you just let me know ^_^ ))
