Quote: Poultrygeist (10) : As Destiny City is a bustling metropolis, it’s not unexpected that there should be some strange animals running the streets. Sometimes it’s a tiger, sometimes a monkey, sometimes a chicken. Sometimes it’s something worse. Strange egg clusters have appeared in Destiny City’s parks and officials aren’t really sure what they are; these eggs have nothing inside of them. Though it’s an anomaly, they are chalking it up to teenaged pranks. However, they have advised to just leave the eggs as they are. Nobody wants to say why, but if you’re out late at night, you’ll find out. In the darkness, whispered between the sounds of the city: a guttural, rasping cluck. The creature stands on stilt-like legs, rooted to the ground with razor-sharp talons. It wears a cloak of long, oily feathers that drag on the ground with a sinister scraping. If you stare into the darkness, piercing red eyes stare back at you. That’s all it takes for a confrontation: a mangled bird, maybe a chicken in another life, comes barreling out at you. It stands easily as tall as a person, but the proportions are all wrong. The smell of sulfur follows it as it lunges, pecking and screaming and scratching as it attempts to chase you away. Maybe, from the nests full of empty eggs. The battles are fierce, but fleeting; it will viciously try to chase you away but the effects are always the same: at some point, the eggs are crushed. As always, there’s nothing inside of them, but with one final wail, the bird will vanish into a plume of foul smoke. Note: If you choose to encounter one of these bird-like creatures, your character will recognize they are not youma. It is impossible to tell if it is a single entity or if there are many. The bird does not seem to understand or care to listen to human words. It will always disappear in a malodorous plume of smoke and leave nothing but a foul odor and a clutch of empty, broken eggs behind. This RP can be used as a battle requirement as long as there are two powered characters involved; you must be interacting with another player’s powered character. This does not count as the one youma battle per stage for growth. This can only be used as a battle requirement once per character, but there is no limitation for how many times a player can use this prompt.

Rabbit hadn't done much lately. She had mostly been at home or at her tea house; she was now in the woods looking for a creature she had heard was in these woods. The stories were way too crazy to be believed without seeing it for herself. A giant chicken?? Come on, now that was something out of a storybook, right? But if it was real, Rabbit had to see it for herself. She was really excited to see this. She walked into the woods with confidence. Since she was a knight, she didn't have any actual magic yet, that would only come when she got stronger.
It was so unfair that senshi got magic when they were new that knights didn't get. She sighed and continued on. She held her stuffed bunny to her chest it was heavy. So it was good enough to cause a little damage to things she had to attack.

Winters was searching for more of the lilypads. Not that she wanted to deal with the frogs but the lilypads had been fun and exciting. What she found was a pile of…eggs.
There was someone coming up on her, but it was a friendly feeling so she didn’t pay it much mind, crouched over by the eggs and poking the top one gently. Where there chickens out here? Had someone lost their chicken? But a nest like this…it was comical, like one’s you’d see in a cartoon about a chicken…
Standing as the Page approached, she called out. “Hey! You looking for eggs? I found some. Think there’s some chickens around?” It was said as a joke, and was truly meant to be one.
Of course, the sudden smell that assaulted Winter's nose had her making a face. "Ugh. I think one of these eggs went bad. Nasty."

Rabbit turned to the senshi and said, "No, I was looking for the chicken. I was really curious to see if there really was a giant chicken." She smiled and then smelled the weird scent and wrinkled her nose. "That smell is terrible. I'm Rabbit, page of the moon, by the way." She said, introducing herself. She smiled again and said, "I don't mind looking for the eggs and the chicken with you if you want to." She offered. She looked around and thought she heard something in the woods.. She wondered if it was the chicken they were looking for.

“Wait, you’re actually looking for a chicken? I was joking because there’s literally eggs right here and I…you know. Chickens? They look like a movie set up for a nest of eggs though so I just…don’t know, you know?”
That really didn’t matter she was sure and she nodded. “Winters. Nice to meet–”
She broke off and stared in horror behind Rabbit as this…creature came into view. It…was kind of a chicken. If a chicken had a baby with slenderman.
“Uh…I don’t…uh…I mean…”
She broke off the attempts at talking and just pointed in horror at the…thing.

Rabbit blinked and then said "Well yea since I didn't believe it either so it's like looking for the mothman or bigfoot." Then she realized that something was behind her based on the face the girl was making. Rabbit spun around and hit the chicken with her stuffed rabbit, which was a lot heavier than one would expect for a normal toy. Then she grabbed the other girl's arm to pull her up so they could get some distance from the giant chicken and they could decide what to do. Once they were a little away, Rabbit stopped and asked the other girl. "Are we running or fighting?" She asked calmly.

Winters watched in confusion and bemusement as the girl threw a stuffed toy at the chicken, which did…about as much as could be expected which was mostly nothing but she allowed herself to be drawn away and ran a bit. “I mean…Do you think we’ll win? Not that I think we’ll lose, but it’s uh. My magic isn’t really…it’s cool! Don’t get me wrong but it’s not like…I won’t turn him or her into a rotisserie, which is a shame.” She looked around and dove for a good arm sized broken off tree branch. It was thin and had leaves on it but…maybe she could just bash the thing away. It was better than nothing.
“I think we can take it. If we can stand the smell, at least. You with me?”

Rabbit listened to the senshi and blinked, and then shook her head and said, "Don't worry, we can do this. I'll get its attention, and you can hit it with your magic." She didn't wait for the girl to confirm that she agreed. Rabbit figured it was easier to just pull her along than it would be to explain everything and talk it out. "Hey, chicken butt some and get me!!" She said and waved her stuffed bunny around. She jumped up and down and waited for the Poltrygeist to come running at her, trusting the senshi would get with the program and attack. She wasn't afraid since she was pretty sure she could beat this creature by herself. She wanted to help this senshi gain confidence too. Rabbit already believed in herself; heck, she believed in a number of things.

“I mean…” Winters stared in confusion, in some annoyance as the girl just ran over and started shouting at the chicken. Was she…crazy? It just didn’t…why would she…
It was too late to say no, that was a dumb idea, so she just moved in closer, hoping that her magic would do something. If she wasn’t able to actually cause damage…then this girl was going to literally die. “It’s Tradition!” The words came after a moment, it was as though she couldn’t find her voice, the pressure was…a lot.
As the strange ice crept towards the Chicken and it froze for a moment, turning to look at her, it’s beady eyes seeming to glow with hatred. Or something akin to it.
“Um…maybe we should run while we can? I don’t know if…this will hold for long…I’m game for running if you are.”

Rabbit rolled her eyes and hit the chicken with her bunny. "Don't worry, I'm alright." Then she jumped back and ran in and kicked the chicken. Till it suddenly disappeared. She was caught off guard and fell to the ground. She expected it to run away like these creatures normally did. She stood up and dusted herself off. "I'm a page of the moon, a knight. We are mostly physical fighters; we get some magic later on, but not to start with, so we have to train our bodies too." She looked the girl over. "Don't you train?" She asked curiously.

When the chicken vanished, WInters let out a sigh of relief. She obviously hadn’t done it but…the fact that it was gone was just. It was just good. “I um. Yeah I’ve met other Pages. I don’t really train, no? I skate. I’m not like. Utterly unathletic.”
She felt rather…indignant and shrugged. “Anyway. We made it, so that’s cool…I’m gonna…head out though I think…”

Rabbit blinked, confused. "Well, ok bye then." She said that since they didn't want to hang out and talk at all.
