It was time. After so long of Trevor being down, depressed and strait up in the mucky, fogy mindset. His family and friends decided it was time for an intervention in hopes to pull him out of all the chaos and darkness that flooded his soul.
It took awhile for all to gather, as they watched him all curled up , his hair getting greyer.
First to approach was Tristan, his precious daughter. "Daddy, you don't have to respond right away, but please, listen to each of us." She started, taking a seat next to him as she leaned her head down, nuzzling his cheek.
A slow response, but nod from Trevor followed as he lifted his head and leaned against her more, looking around to see all who came.
"I know you've been through the wringer and that's twice over, your heart may feel broken, but with time and our support, we're hoping it'll mend and for you to be joyful once more. Like when you were younger and I was a fresh filly, running to her daddy with all the wisdom and love one filly could ask for. I love you dad and hate seeing you this way."
The second voice to speak up as he went to lay next to his Father was, Rune. "Sis is right. This isn't healthy for you to mope around, dragging your hooves on the ground. You have family and friends all around that care and love you so deeply. While some have families now, we still come to see and spread that bond with you."
Next was a Stallion older than Trevor with a wise look across his smile. "Brat, if I can find a new spark in my life, I know you can. Maybe you need a good wash and refresher, but other than that, you'll be surrounded by so many suitors. If I have it in me, you do too." Theodore chuckled. "You're my son after all and I have hope and faith that everything will be all right in the end."
Soon a ghostly Mare approached. "Trevor, you are one of my most dearest friends, and your friendship means the world to me, so seeing you like this aches my heart. Please, as my closes and most precious friend, come back to us, become your old energetic, joyful and sweet stallion I adore."
Last was a light blue mare with short cropped hair and energy that could brighten anyone's day. "Trevor, we've known each other since we were foal and filly. If anyone can bring you out of this rut, I know you can. Fight the darkness and come back into the light that loves and cares for you. It's warmer over here and Everyone else is waiting for you." Bright Eyes grinned as she nudged him playfully.
Trevor listened and thoughtfully sat in silence giving it a moment before nodding. "I'm so sorry everyone..." Tears welled in his eyes as he nuzzled each and everyone once he got back up to his hooves. "I'm so sorry for staying in the dark, for hurting in silence, and not speaking up. You're all right. But I'm still scared, it may take me some steps but... if you all wouldn't mind, Could you all help me on my journey to recovery?"
Tristan couldn't help but tear up with joy. "Yes, always."
Rune got up and nudged him with a chuckle. "If I have to I'll come over everyday for a chat and walk if you want."
Theodore was so proud of even the smallest acknowledgment and progress. "That's my boy." He grinned.
Karma couldn't help but rush to get closer, her head wrapping around his neck in a hug, as she started to cry. "I'll do everything in my power to help you in any way I can."
Bright eyes jumped for joy before running off to get something behind a close tree, coming back with a bouquet of Sunflowers, Chrysanthemum, and Iris', placing them at his hooves. "We all gathered these together to brighten your day. You're amazing and wonderful, and mean the world to us, and don't you ever forget that." She demanded cheerfully with a goofy grin across her face. "Each flower represents our love and care for you." She continued. "Sunflowers show our adoration, our love and joy towards you, how each and everyday you brighten our lives and how we cherish it. Chrysanthemum reminds us of the optimism we still see in you everyday, and how each and everyone of us wants you to have a long and happy life through longevity, and last but not least, Iris, it carries faith, hope, wisdom, and courage. The faith that you'll get through this is strong, the hope that everything will turn out for the better will happen, the wisdom in us all that you'll pull through and the courage you and we all have to go through this together. You mean the world to us, and you've got this." She encouraged as everyone else agreed.
There was a sound of sadness in Trevor's voice, but it was different, it wasn't of sorry or depression, it was lighter, hopeful and more relaxed. A sound that wasn't heard in a long time as he gave a small chuckle in between it all. "Thank you, thank you all so much. I couldn't have asked for a better set of friend and family in my entire life. You are all my world. Thank you for this intervention, I really Needed it."
