The Meteor Shower (3) : It wouldn't be a star festival without a meteor shower! Right on time, a beautiful array of shooting stars graces the night sky. This time of year is unnaturally clear and it's incredibly easy to see the stars. Most meteor fragments appear to be little white or yellow lights streaming across the sky, but if you watch closely enough you may find that some of them seem to be a whole rainbow of colors. The scientists have reported that it's just different components burning up as they enter the atmosphere, but there's something undeniably magical about it.

Totoro had found a playground near his apartment and sat on the jungle gym watching the sky. He'd heard about the return of the meteors where they were all different colors. His hood was down so it wasn't over his eyes and he watched each star as they twinkled.
Totoro's legs were dangling as he sat on the jungle gym and he noticed a bright yellow streak across the sky. "Oh!"
He looked excited as the stars streaked across the sky in different colors; purples, oranges, reds, greens, the whole rainbow. Totoro was debating as he watched the stars fly through the sky. He still needed to go to his homeworld and he'd been avoiding it.
The chibi senshi folded his arms on the top bar of the jungle gym and rested his head as he counted the stars as they fell. He wondered what caused the colors on the meteors and why they seemed to only fall around the starfest time. They also reminded him of the pokemon that had all the different colors - though he couldn't remember the name off hand.
His thoughts turned back to him going to visit his homeworld, Realta had said she'd go with him as well as a few others. Totoro was wondering should he message someone and ask if they were still interested, debating on pulling out his senshi phone.
What if his homeworld was scary though? What if something lived there that he didn't want to meet? Or what if he couldn't get back home? There was a moment's pause before he softly chuckled at that last thought. The reason being he knew that no one would go to space if they couldn't get back and that he had to trust the magic not to let him down on that side of things.
After all, how silly would it be for people to say they were visiting their homeworld or wonder and just get stuck and lost up there forever? The chibi senshi seemed to mule this idea over and ultimately swept it to the side. As being one of the least likely things to happen.
However, finding something living on his homeworld wasn't quite out of the question, neither was his homeworld possibly being scary as could be. Though he hoped it wasn't, he didn't want a scary homeworld. If the homeworld was quite and cozy he'd feel a lot better.
There was a sigh though, because he knew the only way he'd find out for sure if his homeworld was scary or not -- was if he actually went. Continuing to avoid it wouldn't help him get over his fear of what was actually there. And if he was honest with his self; he was curious over all. Which should have been enough to justify him just going to the homeworld. He saw a final purple meteor and closed his eyes, so he could make a wish.
Once he finished his wish he hopped down and upon the ground, at his feet he found a violet star charm. The chibi senshi looked at it carefully before dismissing it to his subspace. Now, he just needed to decide if he was taking someone a long with him on the adventure to space.
