So they planned meetings now, discreet and out-of-the-way interludes. Further little ‘indiscretions’ where they’d meet and tangle in each other’s limbs and kisses.
Kinky little interludes where he knew damn well she could easily break free of his hold, or his tricks, but they both enjoyed it all the same.

Today it was a meeting in the woods, deep in and on a lesser-used trail he’d hiked out with a late-donned backpack to bring extra ‘treats’ to make the meeting more special. He planned to pin her against a tree, but a blanket was a nice follow-up. Aftercare was important after all.
A little wine and food for after as well if she decided she could linger that long…

It made his heart beat faster knowing that he’d see her soon. Knowing there was always that slight risk, maybe more than a slight risk, that it was a trap. That one day she’d be tired of him and once again, perhaps for the last time, he’d find a hand sunk into his chest grasping things it was never meant to lay hold of.

=======================================

There were often times where Pezz would wonder just what the <********> she was doing. But then, there were times where even though what she was doing was wrong according to the rules set by this war, it just felt so right. Sure, she managed to keep up with her quota, but it seemed like she had a bit of a change in tactics. No longer was she…AS aggressive when it came to taking energy, and there were certainly less casualties as well. Even some senshi had been spared, whereas earlier they would’ve suffered.

A part of her was scared, while another part was excited.

The things they did during their meetups caused a blush to appear on her cheeks, and a foreign feeling elsewhere in her body. What was the feeling? It wasn't something she could think about or acknowledge right now. This was all she could think of as she walked down a beaten path through the woods, trying her best to ignore the power signature that has been stalking her for quite awhile now. Her body started pumping adrenaline the more excited she became. A dangerous game was being played but she couldn't stop herself and that is what she should be worried about.

=======================================

The thrill of the hunt- he could almost understand why she did what she did when she gathered energy when they played this game. Almost… he got the better deal than she did when HE hunted. He got to chase her, and the prize? Sweeter than candy.

His heart pounded in his chest, feeling her ahead of him, he picked up his pace, just a little. Just enough to bring him that much closer to the tantalizing prize that she was.
What was this feeling that he had when they dallied like this anyhow? It wasn’t shame… it probably should have been shame. He pushed the thought aside and vowed to give it more thought another time. But not right now…

Now was not the time.
“Little Red, little red, I’m coming for you!” He called, just to tantalize her with the knowledge that he was getting closer by voice as well as the power signature that they both exuded.

=======================================

He has been following this signature for a minute, curious about what they were doing since he was often finding it intertwining with chaos. Now, would this be any of his business? Not really no, but since his boyfriend wasn't around to keep him distracted, him being nosy was apparently everyone's problem whether they liked it or not. Dem made sure to keep just out of range in terms of senses so he doesn't get caught before he is ready.

But then he heard something like “Little Red, Little Red, I'm coming for you!”

Just what in the ******** is going on?

=======================================

Hearing that voice just caused a shiver to go down her spine, even as she picked up pace to go into that of a nice healthy run to at least create some distance. Didn't want to make it too easy right? Panting softly, Pezz hid around a tree, grinning from ear to her while she waited to get caught eventually. Maybe that's what made this so fun? The thrill of dallying with order in places no one would dare look…

Probably.

=======================================

He didn’t hurry his step, as tempting as it was. He pursued her with the calm tenacity of what people assumed human ancestors must have had.
The thrill of it, the chase, the hunt, the capture, the chance that they, slim as it might be, could be captured, was amazing and terrible.

“Ready or not, here I come!” He called, getting closer, pausing to listen in case he could hear the quickening sound of her breaths.
Letting her hear the sound of his own boots against the leaves and picturing, rather ahead of himself, the smell of her hair mingling with the smell of the woods when he found her.

========================================
She had to repress her breathing, holding her breath and covering her mouth with her hand while her chest rapidly moved up and down. The sound of his boots, the crunching of the leaves and twigs echoed throughout the forest while she waited, and she could hear him getting closer. The ready or not caused an eyeroll and Pezz was almost tempted to come out and say really?, but she wisely stayed where she was.

========================================

Dem was close enough that he could see the senshi, but not enough to be detected yet. He needed to investigate just a bit further, wondering who the agent was that apparently wanted to risk punishment for dallying with the enemy. Granted, it might be worth it if the sex was good. Still, perhaps good for a one off and not…Multiple times. This senshi and this officer had some balls to be sure.

========================================

“Boo!” He spun around the edge of the tree he was fairly certain she was behind and grinned in success to find her there. He pinned her with hands to either side of her, gripping the tree.

“Hello, Red. What beautiful eyes you have.” He teased. Leaning into her and pressed her more firmly against the tree.

========================================

Okay so she actually startled even though she could feel his power signature right around the tree, but that didn't stop her from looking up at her capturer while biting her lip. “Yeah?” There was that trademark blush as she looked into his eyes. “All the better to seduce you with, Mr. Wolf~” her arms reached up to wrap around him, “I'm so scared….Please don't eat me~”

========================================

He let out a wicked laugh and leaned in to brush his nose against hers before nipping at her neck and jaw.
“I’d say…hold still then, but I really don’t want you to. In fact…” he turned his head to whisper in her ear. “I’d say I very much prefer it when you don’t hold still”
He bit at her earlobe.

=======================================

Okay, it was time for him to make himself known.

Dem moved in, swinging his ball and chain weapon as he went. He was expecting some random officer, which is why he was extremely surprised when he saw his teammate instead, “Pez?....” he asked and whistled lowly, “Of all the people Id expect to play ******** around and find out, I didn't think you would be the one. Broke up with Hatter did you?” he shook his head, “Shame….” He turned to the senshi, not even one on the same level as them…Damn she could've done better, “If my colleague does not come to her senses, then I'll make sure to show her your destroyed starseed to remind her.”

=======================================

There was a remark on the tip of her tongue, but then she heard a very familiar voice…

And promptly panicked.

“D-Dem! Don't! You KNOW why me and Hatter are not a thing anymore!” College was a thing, Ever became busy and they drifted. Normal adult things. “Just leave and pretend you didn't see anything? Please?” The look her fellow captain gave her caused a pained look in her eyes. “Leave him out of it! He can leave and never come back okay?” The thought of Vulpe’s starseed being wiped from existence did not make her feel good at all.

=======================================

“Hold up! Hold up! I'm not even a good starseed; she just hasn’t recruited me yet because my powers are stuck on ‘shitty’ mode.” He tried, though he was half trying to protect her just in case the other officer turned on her.

“Hells bells….” He said, glancing at the weapon. “Oh that one’s gonna hurt.”

He glanced between them and winced slightly. “... bad time for you guys to be the ones who teleport.”

======================================

It was funny how she thought he would just let this senshi get away.

“Pez, this doesn't look good for you and I'm sure you know you are in no position to negotiate. You should move while you can….” With that, he charged forward, leaping in the air with the intent to slam down one of the balls on his chains.

=======================================

“L-Loot out! Run!” Pez grabbed onto Vulpe’s jacket, teleporting them as far away as she could. “G-GO! I'll try to hold him off!” Summoning her stick she ran in the direction her colleague was in, thanking god he hasn't practiced his teleporting like she did.

=======================================

“I can’t just…” He started to protest, but she was off and running in the direction from where they had probably come. He searched around for a rock, a heavy branch, anything to give him a fighting edge because he didn’t like this one bit.
What if they starseeded HER?

“Goddamnit…” He swore and found a mossy rock from an old wall to heft into his hands. Awkward, but it was something more than ‘band-aid power activate’.
He took off after her, hauling his rock. Maybe with a little luck he could clobber the other a** over the head. <********!

After slamming his weapon into the ground, Dem pulled it free and ran in the direction he could feel his colleague’s signature from. Once he saw Pez, he didn't talk, just swung, raging when she smacked the spiked ball away like it was a baseball. “You! This is against protocol and you insist on protecting the enemy?!” Granted, killing the senshi wasn't something he could do, but Pez did not know that and he wanted to keep it that way. “Just leave and let me….” Oh?

So the senshi was stupid without a sense of survival?

Dem gave Pez a malicious grin and jumped back, swinging his weapon and waiting for the dumbass to arrive.

=======================================

Pez was starting to see red, almost confused when Dem leaped back.

Then she felt the order signature heading her way. <******** really?!

She told the idiot to run, not come back!

“Dem just leave it!! You a*****e!” Instead of waiting for Vulpe to get back, Pez charged forward, knowing Dem wasn't very good at close quarter combat, tackling him to the ground and slamming her fist into his face. “Leave. Him. Alone!” Sure she would get in trouble for this, but Dem swung first and it wasn't her fault she had to defend herself.

=======================================

“HEADS UP!” yelled Vulpe, coming to where she was pummeling her punctuation into the newcomer’s face. Really, it was amazing to watch.

Now the question was: drop the rock on his head, or his… bits. Either one would put him out of commission for a good while; one just… potentially longer than the other.
Still… one was… way less potentially lethal than the other. He heaved the rock towards the poor souls' junk.

======================================

He should've known Pez would go in for close quarters since she was a boxer.

Which is why he went into instant defense mode as soon as he saw her fists flying. So far he was doing okay, but then he felt the worst pain imaginable, letting out a painful howl before Pez’s fist slammed into his jaw. There was no way he was going to tell anyone about this lest he become extremely embarrassed. He felt Pez’s weight lift off of him as he rolled to the side, cupping his junk and curling into a ball. “You ******** b***h…” he slurred out, unable to move.

======================================

As soon as she got up, Pez turned onto Vulpe, narrowing her eyes. “You IDIOT!” she grabbed him by the lapels of his jacket and teleported as far as she could again, feeling dizzy. “Why would you do that?! I could handle it!” She punched him in the chest, “What if he managed to get you huh? Do you not have any concept of self preservation?!”

======================================

“What if he got YOU?” He fired back. “You’re capable, but you guys can all do the creepy chest reach! Oh…s**t are you okay?” He’d never considered what teleporting did to the teleporter. She swayed slightly on her feet, and he grasped her upper arms.
“Right, we’re hoofing it.” He said, and moved to scoop her into his arms.

“By which I mean, you’re letting me carry you as far as we can before he recovers whatever is left of the dignity I just crushed.”

He paused, thinking, and then added. “And uh…no, when it comes to people I care about, self-preservation gets put in second place.”

=====================================

No she just needed to recover, then she could walk on her own.

“N-No I just need a bit of time----!” Of course she squeaked yet again when she was picked up. “I can walk!” Honestly, she probably wouldn't be able to for at least a couple of hours since she rarely teleports twice in a day. The last sentence caused her to quiet down and just lean her head against his chest. Sure, she could just…Rest and as soon as she had her energy back, she would totally just walk home… As she was getting sleepy, Pez started to drift off, cuddling closer. “Chest….warm….Night~”

She could figure out this caring thing later.
