Woebe Tide Three days to go!! Wooot! You have to let us know how it went! By the way, I like your band name for 2 reasons. #1, I'm left handed and #2, my favorite microbrew is called Left Hand. It's made about 30 miles from my home and it's great.

Le Grrr, team.
Singer didn't make himself available at the time for the hour and a half trip, so we left without him.
So I had to do the singing.
Don't get me wrong, I ******** love singing, but it gives me the shits playing the bass and singing at the same time. I can't do either as well as I'd like, as I can't concentrate on either properly.
Suffice to say we didn't get through to the next round. sad
Going first didn't help either. xd The other bands had people around to dance and or thrash, one was a metal band rolleyes ) and we got the usual reaction. Confusion. xd If it was a psychadelic band I'd understand, but oh well.
We're gunna get a bass player and I'mma be a lead singer, it seems. eek That will be interesting. I need a new wardrobe. lol

Wow. Sorry to hear about your singer bugging out on you and thereby helping to ruin your chances. Sounds like he picked a freakin' fabulous time for it. Anyway, are you glad to be the new lead singer? Or do you prefer bass?
Tangent: I remember being in a singing competition when I was in high school. I was supposed to be 1/2 of a duet. The other 1/2 of the duet had a psycho beast for a mother. On the morning of the competition, the mother decided her daughter would not be joining me. All I can say is it's a good thing I had the melody. Would have sounded a bit odd otherwise.
