People involved: Kaurii, Casanova, Rukiya, Josh, and Casper

Place/setting: The tennis courts located in Durem.

Reason behind: Josh called asking if Kaurii wanted to play a tennis game and let both of them unwind a bit. They met at the Durem courts on a bright March day. The winter chill is dieing out and giving way to the scorching summer heat. Today is mild and bright out.
->Casanova meets Casper and Casper interacts with Rukiya again.

Josh fumbled slightly as he made his way onto the well kempt courts. The large black duffle bag in his grasp had already started slipping from one of his slim shoulders and had almost fallen off by the time he had managed to make his way over to Kaurii. “Hello there! I’m sorry I’m a bit late.” He set down his equipment gingerly on a bench and reached in gently plucking out a pristine looking racquet. It gleamed softly in the light and gave off a faint glow of blue against Josh’s features. The boy smiled at Kaurii dazzlingly. “So you sure you’re up for a match against me.” He boasted highly, but his toned could help but falter as he witnessed the perfect serves Kaurii was flawlessly executing. One after another landed monotonously in the most well placed positions; almost like a machine… Josh gulped lightly trying to hide his mild cowardice.

Casper floated onto the court with a trademark grimace plastered across his face. His hidden eyes darted towards the small group accumulating onto the third court. Casper swaggled over with a slight hint of boredom in his graceful motions and he promptly took a position on the closest bench. It happened to be right next to Josh’s black bag. Casper noticed the familiar girl on the courts… Kaurii was it? He could also sense the fear that she made surface in his master. Casper also detected the sent of the annoying pup Rukiya… but there was something else as well. Its sent was a bit muskier and alluring. He shot a glance over to the owner of said sent. Casper’s voice rose euphoniously from half parted lips as he spoke. It was as if he has approaching this pup with more decency than Rukiya. He couldn’t help it though the pup had something special about him.“Hello there…”

Josh gave a weak grin and took a ball from Kaurii. “Sure, intimidate… just wait till after a warm up.” He approached the baseline and prepared for his serve. He gave the ball a few rough bounces before lining up and swinging his racquet around. Everything glided in perfect motion as he struck the ball at an eye shattering speed. Josh’s hair flittered around his head forming a highlighted brown halo. Brown eyes locked onto the careening yellow ball as it approached the net. His eyes followed closely as it feigned snaking over the tip of the net. He held his breath in anticipation. ‘Smack!’ The ball gave off a soft clicking noise as it gave off all of its force into the top two inches of the net and bounced uselessly on the ground. Josh withdrew his breath in one long, ragged sigh. “Heh, I need to warm up a bit longer.”

Casper glared outraged at the red pup that had just snubbed him and went by as if Casper was meaningless. How dare he! Covered eye sparkled with a glowering rage and claws dug harshly into the soft wood of the bench. He whispered a comment venomously on his breath before focusing on Rukiya for the first ‘real’ time. “Pompous twit…” The tight frown that had formed on his lips faded softly when he turned his attention to Rukiya. “Hello again…”

Josh stood dumbfounded at her comment, but quickly regrouped himself. He flipped a few mid-length tresses of hair away from his eyes revealing an energetic flame dancing in the auburn orbs. He sent her an equally wicked smirk. “That’s not what you’ll be saying when you lose Kaurii.” He readied for another practice serve and wound up for the hit. The ball was projected at a deafening speed over the net causing Josh’s mouth to crack wirily into a satisfied smile.

Casper kept his focus on Rukiya and managed to ignore Casanova’s aggravating comments. He wasn’t going to fall into this simpleton’s trap and get into a fight with a puppy. He was above that… or so he thought. A ruffled swoosh of his tail and a gritting of teeth managed to escape out of Casper’s control.

Josh’s eyes locked on to the pure azure ones across the court. “Let’s get started then?” There was a tinge of amusement lining his voice. He made his way over to the net and spun his racquet on its nose swiftly. The racquet swirled in blues as it slowly fell against the green asphalt with a resounding ‘Clink’. “W or M?” Josh questioned smiling.

The cat oriented boy scoffed darkly towards the puppy. “Hmm, so obedient aren’t we? Almost like a little lap dog running errands…” Casper’s words rolled out in an almost purr. His eyes narrowed at Casanova as if accepting his duel of insults.

Josh just smiled politely at Kaurii’s dazzling display of wit and flicked his eyes down towards the outcome of the spin. “Oh, W! You have some amazing luck on your side.” He gave a soft rap of laughter before he waited for her answer. “Serve or receive?”

Casper’s face remained cool and nearly placid… considering the amount of his features that could be seen. He knew that an outburst in front of this character would just be fodder for another verbal laceration to his ego. Casper gestured his hand in a flippant wave through the air. His mouth drew together softly as he pursed his lips in contemplation of his next words. “I’m sorry that I lack the mass of slobber and good affection, as you would put it, that seem to abound in you…” His tone was discouraging to say the least. His mouth formed a tight feline-like smile. “But it is so sad that you must rely on others to justify your implications about me…” He turned a gaze towards Rukiya, but oddly enough once their eyes met Casper’s gaze didn’t hold the same venom it did with Casanova. One could almost call it a look of admiration… Casper was almost shocked that she could withstand this ‘elegant brute’ of a pup.

Josh looked up at the sky for the answer to Kaurii’s question. ‘Hmm… the sun is up towards the east so…’ His face contorted into a look of pleasant thought and decision. He waved his racquet over head towards the side he wanted. “I’ll just stay here then.” He made his way over to the base line on his side of the court and paused awaiting Kaurii to prepare.

Casper’s face had a mix of shock and rage plastered across it. If he didn’t have better manners the pup would’ve been scorching in the hottest hell’s fire he could produce! His eyes blazed under his face rags as his jaw clenched violently. “Repulsive you say? The only repulsive thing I see here is your disgusting disgrace for a so called personality. Outshine me you say? I don’t have any reason to believe you could outshine road kill much less your companion here. She seems rather dashing in comparison to you. To be honest I could see her providing more comfort to Miss Kaurii than you ever could.” Casper kept his eye burning into Casanova’s back even though he slipped compliments towards Rukiya. Casper’s voice piped up a decibel as an invisible string was plucked deep inside of him. “And no one dare comments on my Master’s love and admiration of me or anyone he see fit in his eyes…”

Josh stiffened slightly and prepared for the serve. “Zero all, love all, first..” The ball was sent whizzing over the net and the game had begun…

Casper’s face cracked into a smile upon seeing the subdued Casanova. He admitted he enjoyed the pup much more when his mouth was being held shut. He calmed down considerably and nodded appreciatively at Rukiya’s actions. “You’re right I suppose I can forgive the impulses of a naïve pup.” Casper cooed softly then gave an airy chuckle. “Perhaps we could try our introduction again once everyone has settled?”
