I found a winterguard show on youtube where the guard acctualy starts spinning the flags with their FEET at one point...how do they do that?!?!

Ares Nova spun with their feet, my director was in Ares Nova before she aged out. She said that for the whole season she had bruises on her ankles from where they had to spin and her back hurt because of it too. Just be thankful that they aren't making us do that sort of thing...at the moment at least.

I can do one rotation with my feet and after that the flag just comes down on my head!!! THEY WERE AMAZING!!!!!

its all about technique, its not too hard if someone breaks it down for you, we spin with all parts of our body, its all a matter of understanding your equipment and how it moves!

I have seen it done more then once in all honesty.

Our instructor (who just graduated from our school last year actually) can do it.

He still wants to have us do it someday.
