It's taken awhile to get to this point, but I changed myself. Before, I was very easy to anger, and quick to get upset/mad, and to retaliate. For SOME REASON that didn't work well in my past relationships, and I decided that it was going to change. So I figured out ways to calm myself, and now I actually calm down faster than James, though I more often get mad. We still have our downs, but we try very hard to compromise and see where the other is coming from. It's exhausting sometimes, but when you're hanging out with your partner, and nothings wrong, it feels wonderful. Talk about the things you guys need and want in a relationship! Be open and forward lol, not enough time for hinting, guessing and hoping. Though I really do sometimes James would just KNOW I want something so I don't have to ask for it, or whatever lol.
